Assurance Wireless, a prepaid brand of Sprint Nextel, is a Lifeline Assistance program supported by the Universal Service Fund offering free mobile phones and service to income eligible and Medicaid households that qualify. Members who opt-in can receive valuable health information and reminders from Partners via their Assurance Wireless phone. Partners will receive an opt-in report with names and cell phone numbers for opted-in members to allow them to communicate directly with those members via SMS text message. There is no cost to members to receive messages and minimal cost to Partners.
