The European Nurse Directors Association (ENDA) was founded in 1992 in Geneva, Switzerland for the purpose of building a network between nurse directors throughout Europe. The ISfTeH is the umbrella Society for National Telemedicine/eHealth societies/associations and exists to facilitate the international dissemination of knowledge and experience in Telemedicine & eHealth and to provide access to recognized experts in the field worldwide. NVEH, the Dutch Association of eHealth, is the main association for e-Health and telemedicine in the Netherlands. Quality in care is central to its mission. Today NVEH represents the Netherlands at the European level in the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH). NVEH works to contribute to the development of policy and standards in eHealth on behalf of health professionals and patients and to collaborate with international professional and trade organizations in the field of eHealth and Telemedicine.
