The goal of
The World Congress Leadership Summit on Utilizing e-Standards and e-Procurement in the Health Care Supply Chain is to accelerate the adoption, implementation and active usage of industry-wide data standards for improving efficiencies throughout the health care supply chain. Currently supply chain partners are operating below maximum efficiency if they are not utilizing a standardized approach. Industry associations, advocacy groups, organizations and health care companies throughout the U.S. have announced their support in adopting standards within the supply chain to improve patient safety and efficiency. In order to accelerate wide-scale adoption and implementation, this Summit will address the following key topics and deadlines facing the industry:
- Review the impact of standards in your e-procurement and supply chain
- 2010 GLN Sunrise and 2012 GTIN SunriseStandards
- Step by step guidance on where to begin your standardization process
- Shifting from a manual to an automated system
- Learn how to guide your organization through the UDI Rule and get a jump-start in advance of the implementation deadline for a smooth transition
- Impact of health care reform
- Quality of care improvements via supply chain standards
- Decreasing cost through improved efficiencies
- Better product/device recall tracking for increased care delivery
