George Shultz served as the 60^th U.S. Secretary of State from July 1982 until January 1989. Previous roles in government held by Mr. Shultz include Senior Staff Economist on the President’s Council of Economic Advisors during the Eisenhower Administration, Secretary of Labor during the Nixon Administration, and Chairman of The President’s Economic Policy Advisory Board during the Reagan Administration.
