After 27 years with Banque Nationale de Paris, Mr Bernard Poignant was during the last 7 years, General Manager of BNP Capital Markets in London in charge of Euro-Bonds, Euro equity, syndicated loans and swaps activity for the BNP Group (origination, syndication, placement). From 1994 to 1998 he joined Lazard Frères in Paris as head of International Affairs. He has been in charge, among other projects, of international syndication and international placement private and public for large privatisation not only in France but world-wide. Since joining Vivendi's group (January 1999) he was in charge of the financing of International Project in North Africa, Middle East, Central Europe and last but not least the large Vivendi's acquisition in Berlin.
