The 1st Annual World Health Care Congress was a tremendous success.Over 1180 CEOs and other senior executives from the nation’s largest employers, hospitals, health systems, health plans, pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, and government leaders attended the conference held January 25-27th, 2004 in Washington DC.

Co-sponsored by the Wall Street Journal and CNBC, this meeting initiated a dialog of national significance.

Topics such as containing the increasing cost of health care, implementing quality initiatives, innovations in health care finance, new clinical delivery approaches, assessing cost-effective technology, and the role of government were addressed and debated at this unique forum.
