Sabrina Aery is currently the Director of 340B Compliance and State Policy at Bristol-Myers Squibb and is located in Washington D.C. Sabrina has over 27 years Public Health experience with 18 of those years in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Advocacy, Account Management, Leadership and Health Policy roles. In addition to her work in the Pharmaceutical industry, she has served in leadership roles in Managed Medicaid, a DSH Academic Institution, and with the State of Hawaii, Department of Health.

Shantanu Agrawal, MD, MPhil, is president and CEO of the National Quality Forum (NQF). A board-certified emergency medicine physician who has worked in both academic and community settings, Dr. Agrawal is the former deputy administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and director of one of its largest centers, the Center for Program Integrity (CPI). At CMS, Dr. Agrawal led an effort to improve the physician experience with Medicare by working to minimize the administrative tasks with which doctors contend. He also was one of the main architects of CMS’s strategy and action plan to address the national opioid misuse epidemic. His main focus at CPI was improving healthcare value by lowering the cost of care through the detection and prevention of waste, abuse, and fraud in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. From 2012 through 2014, CPI’s prevention efforts saved Medicare and Medicaid over $50 billion. Dr. Agrawal previously served as CPI’s chief medical officer and was instrumental in launching new initiatives in data transparency and analytics, utilization management, assessment of novel payment models, and stewarding a major public-private partnership between CMS and private payers, the Health Care Fraud Prevention Partnership. In addition to leading NQF, Dr. Agrawal is co-chair of the Department of Veterans Affairs Secretarial Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Prevention Advisory Committee and serves on the board of the Grameen Foundation, the Presidential Advisory Council of Brown University’s School of Public Health, and the editorial board of the journal Population Health Management. He is an adjunct senior fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania and an associate clinical professor of emergency medicine at the George Washington University Hospital. Dr. Agrawal has testified numerous times before Congress and is a frequent national speaker on healthcare and cost. He is a well-published author with articles in Journal of the American Medical Association, New England Journal of Medicine, Annals of Emergency Medicine, among others. Prior to joining CMS, Dr. Agrawal was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving the senior management of hospitals, health systems, and biotech and pharmaceutical companies on projects to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery. He also worked for a full-risk, capitated delivery system as its leader for clinical innovation and efficiency. Dr. Agrawal completed his undergraduate education at Brown University, medical education at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and clinical training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He has a master’s degree in social and political sciences from Cambridge University.

Jennifer Atkins is vice president, network solutions for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), a national federation of 36 independent, community-based and locally operated Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) companies. The BCBS System is the nation’s largest health insurer, covering one-in-three of all Americans.

Atkins is responsible for all of BCBSA’s national network solutions, including the Blue Distinction portfolio of high-performance networks.

Most recently Atkins was regional vice president of provider solutions at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wisconsin, with accountability for statewide provider contracting, network development and strategy. Prior to that she spent 10 years at Mercy Health, a Catholic healthcare ministry serving Ohio and Kentucky.

Atkins is also committed to working with various charitable organizations; she currently serves on the board as vice president of Hope House, a nonprofit shelter and community center located on the near south side of Milwaukee. Previously, she was on the board of FOCUS / Beach House, a Toledo, Ohio organization dedicated to resolving the root causes of homelessness and on the board of the YWCA of Toledo. She has also been active in the Boy Scouts of America and the National Forensics League.

Atkins earned an M.B.A. with an emphasis in finance from the University of Toledo and a bachelor’s degree in history and English from Bowling Green State University.

In addition to being a founding board member of NAACOS, Mr. Barrett served as the senior vice president for operations and development for the ACO efforts at Universal American/WellCare. In addition to his national responsibilities, his specific ACOs are accountable for over 150,000 assigned Medicare beneficiaries. Prior to joining Universal American, Mr. Barrett worked extensively in Medicare Advantage finance and operations at both health plans and provider groups.

Steve Benz brings decades of experience to his practice, counseling clients on issues related to pharmaceutical pricing and contracting, patient support programs, government investigations, CIA implementation, and healthcare compliance. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Benz was the head of litigation at Eli Lilly and Company, leading nearly all the company's global litigation matters. Mr. Benz also directed a team that was responsible for providing internal legal advice on pricing, reimbursement, and access issues for products worldwide. He advised senior management on pharmaceutical pricing and contracting with the government, commercial insurers, pharmacy benefit managers, hospitals, distributors, and pharmacies and led a team responsible for US Federal Healthcare Program Compliance. He also worked with Congressional staff and Federal agencies on healthcare reform matters.

Scott Adam Berkowitz, MD, MBA is Associate Professor of Cardiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Senior Medical Director for Accountable Care for the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians within Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM). In this work, Dr. Berkowitz is advancing efforts in care delivery transformation and population health for JHM. He is executive director of the JHM accountable care organization (ACO), and executive director of the JHM care transformation organization (CTO) being developed through the emerging Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP) to assist in supporting over 30 primary care practices across the state. Dr. Berkowitz is a member of the leadership team for the JHM skilled nursing facility (SNF) collaborative that includes over 30 SNFs. From 2012-2016, he served as the program administrator and project director for the Johns Hopkins Community Health Partnership (JCHiP) which was launched through a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Health Care Innovation Award (HCIA).

Dr. Berkowitz is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and of the American Heart Association (FAHA) and serves on expert committees for both related to population health. His research and writing efforts relate to accountable care and healthcare transformation and he has published in medical journals includes the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of American Medical Association, Academic Medicine, Circulation, among others.

Dr. Berkowitz completed his undergraduate degree at Yale College, and medical school and business school at Yale University Schools of Medicine and Management. He completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Berkowitz spent a year as a fellow on the Senate Finance Committee, chaired by Senator Max Baucus, during which he was involved in the development of the Affordable Care Act. He also served as a health policy advisor for the Governor of Illinois and as a fellow on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee when chaired by the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

Board certified in family medicine, James Bock, MD, received his education and completed his residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford. Before stepping into these roles, Dr. Bock served the health care needs of the Decatur, IL, area since 1990 as a family medicine physician. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Nicole Bradberry is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of the Florida Association of ACOs (FLAACOs). FLAACOs is the premier professional organization for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) throughout Florida which provides education and collaboration in the fee for value healthcare space.

She is also the Florida Market President for Navvis Healthcare, a population health management company. In this role she is focused on creating, cultivating, and growing new partner relationships, in addition to managing and expanding relationships with existing Navvis client partners. She works closely with Navvis’ internal clinical, operational, and technology teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of Real-Person Care for hospitals, health systems, and health plans.

Prior to Navvis, as its CEO, Nicole led the successful transition of Captify Health to a specialty network benefits management solution prior to selling it to a large revenue cycle company, Continuum Health Alliance where she also served as their Chief Growth Officer. Ms. Bradberry leverages her strategic relationships and strong leadership, operations and technology background to develop innovative products and growth strategies for healthcare providers as they transition to value-based healthcare.

Prior to joining Captify Health, Ms. Bradberry, as President and Co-Founder of Citra Health Solutions, led the strategy and design behind the development of scalable population health tools and a professional service model that enabled physicians to successfully participate in value based contracts such as ACOs.

Prior to Citra, she was a founding Executive and Chief Information Officer for Rise Health, where she led the design and implementation of a full primary care transformation suite of products, including proprietary technology and transformational business solutions. In this role, she led her team to win the prestigious U.S. Department of Health and Human Services health data award for IT innovation.

In addition, Ms. Bradberry spent 16 years leading operations and information technology programs for UnitedHealth Group and Cigna HealthCare. While there, she served as business lead for the technology transformation of the country’s largest dental and vision Services Company, led the national deployment of healthcare quality and affordability programs, and was responsible for the successful integration of many major health plans.

Ms. Bradberry holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of Florida. She is a former Board of Director for Diabetes America, is a member of the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation, prior Board member of the Boys and Girls Club of NE Florida, prior Co-Chair of the ambulatory committee for Central/North Florida HIMSS, Dean’s Council member for University of North Florida and member of the Junior League. Dana Carne, MD, is the Vice President of Population Health Services at Tandigm Health. At Tandigm he works with the network of primary care practices to improve the value of care (improved quality and reduced cost).

On the clinical side, he obtained his Medical Doctorate from Geisel Medical School at Dartmouth and trained in Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He continued at MGH working both as an Attending on the teaching service as well as a hospitalist.

On the non-clinical side, he obtained an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Following residency, he spent three years consulting at McKinsey & Company with a focus on developing the population health strategy in local, national, and international healthcare businesses.

Ceci Connolly is president and CEO of the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP), the trade association for high-quality, nonprofit, community health plans. Connolly is a passionate advocate for a community-based approach to health care and a strong proponent of payer-provider collaboration. Formerly a national correspondent for The Washington Post and a leader at international consulting firm PwC, Connolly provides a comprehensive perspective on the American health care system from the everyday struggles of physicians and patients to the intricacies of health care politics. Coauthor of LANDMARK: The Inside Story of America’s Health Law and What it Means for Us All, Connolly has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine, The Hill and Morning Consult, among others, and is a contributor on NPR, PBS and Fox. She is a founding member of Women of Impact for Healthcare, and a graduate of Boston College.

Rebekah Couper-Noles joined Intermountain at the end of January 2018 as the Chief Nursing Officer for Community-based Care. Prior to this Rebekah worked with Providence St. Joseph Health for almost ten years in various leadership roles in quality, nursing and operations. She received Washington state’s 2018 Leader in Health Care Award for Outstanding Medical Group Executive.

Rebekah is passionate about deeply engaging with communities with a focus on lifting community and individual health. Christopher Crow, M.D. Co- Founder and CEO of StratiFi Health and President of Catalyst Health Network, is a nationally recognized healthcare innovator. Dr. Crow created StratiFi Health and launched Catalyst Health Network after founding Village Health Partners and Legacy Medical Village in Plano, TX in 2007.

He is an award winning primary care physician and has spent the past 20+ years focused on helping communities thrive through improving the delivery of healthcare.

Greg has served as a Director at Eli Lilly and Company where he leads efforts on Real World Data for Global Patient Outcomes Real World Evidence. Mr. Cunningham has more than 31 years of experience in the pharmaceutical research at Eli Lilly with over 7 years devoted to real world evidence. He has expertise in real world health care data and analytics, clinical data flow, and regulatory submissions and approvals. During his time at Eli Lilly, he has worked on regulatory approvals for the following Lilly products: Cymbalta, Evista, Prozac, Strattera, Symbiax, Trulicity and Zyprexa. Greg was the 2000 Lilly United Way Campaign Chair and raised over $11 million for United Way of Central Indiana. Greg was appointed to serve on the Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Zoning Board by the Mayor.

Greg holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science from Ball State University.

Michael is an Assistant General Counsel for Pfizer Inc. and has over 15 years of in-house pharmaceutical experience advising clients on matters relating to FDA regulations, anti-kickback, false claims, pharmaceutical pricing and contracting with various healthcare stakeholders. Michael is a graduate of Georgetown University and Georgetown University Law Center.

Dr. Sanjay Doddamani is a senior physician advisor at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He is part of the front office team that oversees the development and implementation of health delivery models that test and measure value based payment innovation. Prior to joining the government, he was Chief Medical Officer of Geisinger at Home, a home-based model of care for Geisinger’s population of medically complex patients and also led the Keystone ACO. His focus has been to accelerate the transition to value based care, improving patient outcomes and experience, and harnessing big data and artificial intelligence to empower clinicians to provide better care to patients. He is a board certified heart failure cardiologist and has served on numerous panels and committees to positively disrupt and promote better health for individuals and communities.

John leads the Patient Health & Impact Global Healthcare Innovation Center at Pfizer. His team designs new models of access, value-based contracting, innovative financing, and forges new partnerships across the healthcare sector to facilitate our move to value-based healthcare.

Prior to joining Pfizer, John led the Global Enterprise Solutions team at IQVIA, providing technology-enabled real-world evidence platforms and research networks to help transform biopharmaceutical industry engagement with healthcare systems worldwide. Before that, John led the Global Value & Outcomes Center of Excellence at Quintiles, overseeing innovative pricing and market access, policy analysis, and health economics and outcomes research. Prior to joining Quintiles, John served as President of Analytica International, providing health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence services to the global biopharmaceutical industry. Before co-founding Analytica, he led the Health Economics Research team for the Center for Health Outcomes and Economics at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.

John has over 25 years of experience working in the industry and is very active in thought leadership including representing the contract research organization industry in the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's Real-World Evidence Workshop and co-chairing the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine Foundation's Economic Impact Steering Committee. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at Columbia University.

John earned a Doctorate and Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Applied Economics with a concentration in the Life Sciences at Cornell University.

Dr. Clive Fields is president of VillageMD Houston, an accountable care organization that is recognized for its quality of care by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Fields has led Village’s team of more than 100 clinicians since 1991, and the organization has expanded to include ten (10) primary care clinic locations across the Greater Houston region.

A pioneer in the delivery of value-based care, Dr. Fields spearheaded Village’s participation in the Medicare Plus Choice program during the 1990’s, a precursor to value-based programs. In 2013, Dr. Fields parlayed his expertise as both a clinician and physician executive to co-found VillageMD, a premier primary care management services provider, where he also serves as the company’s Chief Medical Officer. Michele Fisher, MBA, FACHE, FACMPE, CSMC, CHFP is the Chief Contracting and Payer Relations Officer of UW (University of Washington) Medicine Health System. Michele has over 30 years’ experience in health care leadership positions in various business development, revenue cycle focused, operational and clinical roles.

She is also accountable for, among other items, the actuarial relationship for UW Medicine and the negotiation process of all types payer contracts and all aspects of payer or employer contract reporting for all UW Medicine entities and business development ventures and partnerships.

Michele is a Fellow in of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) Association, a Certified Specialist in Managed Care (CSMC) and Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) for HFMA, and, until Feb. 2016 was CoC and CPC-h certified by AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders). Additionally Michele is a Member of the American medical Group Association (AMGA) and the Washington Mediation Association (WMA).

Michele has an Executive Certificate in Advanced negotiations from University of Notre Dame. She graduated from Taft University W. Edwards Deming School of Business with honors (Magna Cum Laude) with an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration.

Les Fuchs, PT, MPT, MBA is the Program Director of Post-Acute Services and Director of Therapy Services at Memorial Hermann- Texas Medical Center. Les collaborates with healthcare executives and directors throughout the hospital and organization to advance the post-acute care and therapy services by utilizing innovative approaches and data to drive process improvement. After spending over 2 decades in healthcare in a variety of settings, Les brings extensive leadership skills and clinical expertise to his role and works in a multidisciplinary fashion to ensure patients attain the best possible outcome.

Les provides operational, fiscal and strategic planning for 11 departments including 3 the therapy departments in Acute Care hospitals, a 22 bed Inpatient Rehab Program, 9 bed skilled nursing unit, and Mobility and Lift team as well as, an Outpatient Therapy Department and 250 team members.

Through his leadership, Les and his team have consistently achieved high patient satisfaction, employee retention and employee engagement scores. Additionally, Les has led the team through 6 consecutive state skilled nursing surveys.

Les holds a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Women’s University.

Kerry Gillihan has been a healthcare executive for 40 years. His experience has been well balanced between acute and post-acute care. The first 15 years of his career was spent as the CEO of 4 large acute care hospitals across the state of KY. The past 25 years have been spent as a CEO in the post-acute space. Eighteen of those years involved building the largest most comprehensive post-acute healthcare system in KY. Every aspect of the post-acute space was represented except skilled nursing facilities. Other years represented CEO level positions in two for profit systems and one CEO role over a 6 entity healthcare corporation in Los Angeles CA. Currently, Kerry is the president and CEO of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center home care division in Nashville TN.

Dr. Haft has been licensed to practice medicine since 1974. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island, attended Medical School at Pennsylvania State University, and completed post-graduate Internship and Residencies at Brown University and a Master’s degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Haft is Board Certified as a specialist in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Following his residency at Brown, he held an academic position at the University of California, Davis as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Psychiatry. He is recognized by the American Board of Physician Executives as a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) and as a Fellow of the ACPE. He served as an Adjunct Professor in the McDonough Graduate School of Business and as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Dr. Haft was the Founder and the Chief Medical Officer of Conmed Healthcare Management, a publically traded company providing a full complement of health care services for correctional centers nationally. He served as the President of Maryland Healthcare, a multispecialty clinic in Southern Maryland, as President of the Maryland Foundation for Quality Healthcare, and as Medical Director of Health Partners, Inc. Dr. Haft has also served as Chief Executive Officer of the Ellis Medical Group in New York. He has served the State of Maryland as Deputy Secretary for Public Health (2015-18), Executive Director of the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange (2017) and currently as the Executive Director of the Maryland Primary Care Program (Total Cost of Care Model) at the Maryland Department of Health.

Dr. Haft served as a Board Member of the American College of Physician Executives (2012-14), Health Partners (2000-2015), CRISP (2015-18), and MedChi (2011-2015).

Jeff Henderson has more than 28 years of pharmaceutical and biotech experience. He currently is the Vice President, Head of Market Access and Government Affairs at Sobi, Inc, a position he has held since July 2018. In this position, Jeff is responsible for the Market Access Organization overseeing Account Management, Payer Strategy and Marketing, Trade and Distribution, Patient Services, Field Reimbursement, Pricing and Government Affairs.

Prior to joining Sobi, Inc, Jeff held various executive level leadership positions at Intarcia Therapeutics, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer. He has a broad range of experience and expertise leading commercial teams within the industry and specializes in new product commercialization, national and key account management, patient services, rare diseases, marketing, trade and distribution, specialty pharmacy, strategic planning, and pharmaceutical contract negotiation and pricing.

Jeff served as an officer in the United States Army for 15 years where he attained to rank of Major and is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Arts in History.

Gary has over 40 years of experience working in healthcare and healthcare management. Prior to working at VillageMD, Gary was the Managing Partner of Circumference Consulting, the Vice President of Strategic Relationships with CareCentrix, Managing Director of Government Programs at PwC , and Senior Vice President of Universal American. His work for VillageMD includes being the President of Village Medical at Home as well as heading Government Affairs. Gary was recently honored at American University receiving the Alumni Eagle award for his service and dedication to the university.

Javier Jimenez is a Medical Doctor, Master in Public Health and Specialist in Preventive Medicine with more than 20 years of experience in epidemiology and 15 years in Pharmaceutical Industry at the country, regional and global level. Throughout his career, Javier has applied his In-depth knowledge of epidemiology and Real World Evidence to generate the required evidence to demonstrate the value of medicines for patients, health care providers and society. By staffing, training and development of high performing teams, collaboration with internal functions and partnering with scientific societies and providers Javier led the development of a world class RWE function responsible for design and implementation of high quality innovative RWE programs.

Javier joined Sanofi in January 2017 to lead the RWE and Clinical Outcomes team reporting to Bernard Hamelin in the Evidence Generation team (CMO). The mission of the RWE and CO team is to build and maintain an integrated RWE platform, source key data sets and use of analytical capabilities and partners required to generate high quality medical evidence. Champion the use of innovative medical evidence generation capabilities by GBUs, function and countries by educating them on the use of new capabilities, enhancement and collaboration to ensure the integration of RWE strategy in all projects is key.

RWE generate meaningful insights to support internal and external decision making required to ensure the best outcome for patients by appropriate use of our products in clinical practice. We deliver innovative and impactful medical evidence required by healthcare decision makers to understand medical value of sanofi therapies by knowing our products and data best, identify gaps and potential challenges early on. We enhance external collaboration with healthcare decision makers, patients, and academic institutions to shape medical evidence generation methodology and policies

Lisa LaCarrubba, MD is Medical Director, Clinical Reengineering for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield New Jersey, where she is responsible for the medical management delegation of risk based partners, clinical transformation of the health plan to better meet the needs of the providers, and education and support of value-based health care providers. Previously she served as Northeast Regional Medical Director of Humana Senior Products and Senior Medical Director of AmeriHealth New Jersey. Dr. LaCarrubba is a board-certified family physician who trained at Virtua-Memorial Hospital, completed medical school at Robert Wood Johnson and earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University. While in practice at North Country Health Systems, she served as chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, president of the Medical Staff, Medical Director of the Derby Green Long Term Care Facility, and was a member of the Board Quality, Maternal Child Health and Ethics Committees. Dr. LaCarrubba is a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership the, American Academy of Family Physicians and New Jersey Immunization Network.

Chuck Levine has been at Premera Blue Cross for three years, and has over 30 years of healthcare experience in a variety of functional areas including Provider Network Development, Provider Relations, Health Plan Operations, and Communications. Prior to working at Premera, he held positions with The University of Washington Medical Center, and both national and regional Health Plans with responsibility for service areas throughout the West Coast and Southwest. He has also served as a HealthCare Consultant working with both Provider Systems and Payors. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master’s Degree from the University of Iowa.

Christina Lewis is the Executive Director of St. Luke’s Care, LLC, a network of 2,000 employed and independent providers that was formed to operate as a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). In her role, Ms. Lewis provides strategic and operational oversight of the CIN, including network development, contract management, and population health. She leads the operations of St. Luke’s Care Network’s Medicare Shared Saving Program and serves on the MSSP ACO board.

Ms. Lewis’ career began in nursing, where she worked in various hospital settings, advancing to Director of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiovascular Step-down and the Emergency Department (ED). During her nursing career, she was responsible for clinical performance and new program development, including the build of an ED Behavior Health Unit and an Open Heart ICU. As the Administrator of Emergency Medicine, Ms. Lewis managed teams for reducing ED length of stay and turn-around-time, and led the implementation of an electronic health record. Her previous managed care experience includes Director of Operations for a Medicaid managed care organization, Administrator of Medical Management for commercial health plans, and General Manager for a Physician Hospital Organization. In these roles, Ms. Lewis developed performance dashboards, provided oversight to employer wellness programs, and led the physician incentive distribution plans.

Ms. Lewis holds an MPH from East Stroudsburg University, a BSN from Cedar Crest College, and a RN diploma from St. Francis Medical Center. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Her community involvement includes initiating and leading Safe Haven of the Lehigh Valley, serving on the Near Death committee of Lehigh County, participating on the Advisory Board of the American Lung Association and serving as a board member of the American Heart Association.

Harvey Littman leads Capital BlueCross’ finance, actuarial, corporate tax, and sourcing departments. With more than 30 years of experience, he has held executive leadership positions at national and regional health plans including Scott & White Health Plan, UnitedHealthcare, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. His areas of expertise include financial management, acquisitions, and healthcare analytics. Harvey serves as treasurer of the board of directors for Hamilton Health in Harrisburg and on the executive leadership team for the Heart Ball for the American Heart Association of Greater Harrisburg.

Danielle Lloyd is the senior vice president of private market innovations and quality initiatives for the Clinical Innovations division of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) in Washington, DC. AHIP is the national association representing organizations that provide coverage for health care and related services.

Danielle is responsible for assessing insurance market trends and developing policy in the areas of emerging payment models, quality measurement and health information technology interoperability. She also serves as chairman of the national Core Quality Measure Collaborative (CQMC).

Previously, Danielle led Premier’s policy analysis and development activities representing the interests of more than 3,500 hospitals and associated physicians nationwide. She served as a national expert on alternative payment models and played a leading role in Premier’s large-scale provider collaboratives.

Prior to Premier, Lloyd worked on an array of healthcare issues including Medicare and Medicaid payment, quality policies, and health information technology for the American Hospital Association, California Hospital Association, the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

She is from Los Angeles, has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and has a master’s degree in public health from the University of California, Berkeley.

Nathan joined DaVita in 2011 and leads integrated kidney care innovation, business development, operations and public policy for Government risk programs, including ESRD Chronic Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs) and ESRD Seamless Care Organizations (ESCOs).

Nathan orchestrates the delivery of a broad range of clinical and social services to ESRD patients to help improve their overall healthcare related quality of life. Always looking for ways to improve healthcare, he is constantly transforming DaVita’s model of care with new technology, processes, and data analytics while adhering to regulatory compliance. He has improved performance results to new levels of profitability year over year – advancing patient outcomes, satisfaction and quality of life. Under Nathan’s five years of leadership, the business has expanded its annual risk under management by over 12x through driving business development functions with payors, providers and CMS/CMMI.

Nathan also leads the development of integrated care policy nationally, in conjunction with the broader renal community, working with Congress/policy leaders and the Administration (HHS/CMS/CMMI) to promote and improve integrated care delivery models for kidney patients. He leads advocacy and development of new innovative integrated care programs for renal patients, e.g. ESCOs, Dialysis PATIENTS Demonstration Act, and focused research and analytics designed to influence key determinants of business success, e.g. Medicare Advantage funding, impact of new drugs, etc.

As co-director of the Aspen Group, a 501(c)(3) organization created to develop and promote meaningful solutions that advance the health and healthcare of all Americans within the next decade, Nathan collaborates with this cross industry/policy group of CEOs and former Congressional/Government leaders to problem solve and generate impact. As a subject matter expert on integrated care for high-cost, high-need populations, he regularly participates on industry discussion panels, e.g. Western Governors Association, American Nephrology Nurses Association.

Earning his Bachelor of Business Administration from Notre Dame, Nathan believes in giving back and supporting local business. He currently serves on the Board of the Downtown Denver Partnership.

Dr Lueken joined Humana Medicare Retail Market Southeast in September 2015 as a Medicare Market Reviewing Medical Director and Regional Vice President of Health Service Operations. Currently she is operating as the Associate Vice President in Office of Chief Medical Officer in Health Care Services. Currently oversees responsibility of corporate medical directors performing utilization management, appeals and grievances, vendor management with coinciding liaison duties with the Humana Medicare Retail Markets.

Dr Lueken is a graduate from East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen Medical College and Mayo Clinic with a board certification in Family Medicine. She obtained her Masters in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon in 2011. Prior to her moving to North Carolina, she resided 15 years in Salem, Oregon. Starting in Oregon as a primary care provider, delivering hospital and outpatient care then transitioned in 2010 as the Medical Officer for Willamette Valley Physician IPA. In 2012, coinciding with the ACA, Willamette Valley Community Health Coordinated Care Organization evolved and she became the Chief Medical Officer for Medicaid and Medicare members in the Marion and Polk Counties. Her expertise is in reducing unnecessary emergency department utilization through delivery of peer support and trauma informed care.

Martin Marciniak, RPh, MPP, PhD is Vice President, US Medical Affairs responsible for Customer Engagement, Value, Evidence and Outcomes within GlaxoSmithKline. His leadership and research experience has included specific therapeutic area focus in oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular disease, policy and economics. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and has been invited to present clinical, health outcomes, and economic results at both national and international meetings. In addition to his research activities, Martin has previously served as a nonvoting industry representative to the Medicare Evidence Development & Coverage Advisory Committee (MEDCAC) for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and as a board member for the National Pharmaceutical Council (NPC) Board of Directors. Presently, he serves as a member of the National Quality Forum Efficiency Steering Committee, the Editorial Advisory Board for Value and Outcomes Spotlight (an ISPOR publication), and on the advisory board for the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER). In addition to these activities, he has also served the broader healthcare community in several different ways, most recently through invitations to engage in public forum discussions at SCOPE, Eye for Pharma, BioCentury TV and the FDA/CMS Summit.

Martin holds a position of Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the University of North Carolina’s Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley, his masters’ degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, and his BS in Pharmacy from Purdue University.

Brian is the Director Government Pricing and Reporting at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and has over 11 years of experience in government contracting and pricing. He is responsible for all aspects of government pricing compliance ensuring the company meets their required pricing obligations under Government contracts and the Medicaid, Medicare, Federal (VA/DoD) and 340B pricing programs. Brian also provides strategic input and financial assessments on legislative activity. Brian has a degree in Accounting from Villanova University.

Neeharika Mehta is the Senior Director for Population Health Programs at Emerson Physician Hospital (EPHO). In this role Neeharika overseas a variety of programs focused on improving ambulatory quality performance, High risk care management, care transitions, telemedicine, behavioral health integration into primary care and engaging MD specialists in population health.

Neeharika has worked in the healthcare industry for 14 years and brings network and industry knowledge to her current role. Previously Neeharika held positions at Partner HealthCare Systems in Care Continuum and Pediatric Care Management Programs. Neeharika received her Bachelor’s from University of South Florida in Tampa FL and her Master in Business Administration from Babson College.

Alefiyah Mesiwala, M.D., MPH, is a board-certified preventive medicine physician, Former Senior Healthcare Advisor to President Obama, and an expert in healthcare innovation and payment reform. She is currently the Senior Medical Director for Innovation and Value-based Care at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Health Insurance Services Division. UPMC is a the second largest integrated delivery and financing system in the US with $20 billion in revenues and 3.6 million covered lives. At UPMC, Dr. Mesiwala is responsible for providing strategic leadership on an innovation-focused portfolio that oversees and supports the contracting and design of value-based reimbursement models across the UPMC Health Plan network. Moreover, she leads the clinical practice transformation strategy, working closely to align population health activities with UPMC’s clinical integration efforts. Prior to joining UPMC, Dr. Mesiwala most recently served as Senior Healthcare Advisor on the White House National Economic Council under former President Obama. In that capacity, she led on President Obama’s healthcare team, advising and coordinating the Administration's activities on delivery system reform, healthcare innovation, and the Affordable Care Act. Dr. Mesiwala was previously a medical officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) and led the design and implementation of new payment reform models such as accountable care organizations and advised on delivery system reform priorities. She is a board-certified primary care physician with clinical training in General Medicine and Preventive Medicine and a Master in Public Health from Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. She received her undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.

Dr. Mohanlal has more than 20 years of global experience in strategic drug development at big pharma, and biotech start-ups, including GlaxoWellcome (GSK), Pharmacia (Pfizer), Vertex, Interleukin Genetics, Syntium, Novartis, and AstraZeneca. His expertise includes drug development in all Phases (preclinical and 1, 2, 3, 4 clinical, post-marketing), regulatory filings and maintaining drugs on the market. Dr. Mohanlal played a crucial role in bringing five drugs to market and was deeply involved in the development of 15 marketed drugs, including Wellferon, Atovaquone, Lamuvidine, Zomig, Advexin, Abilify IM Depot, Zometa, Femara, Aredia, Proleukin, Cardioxane and Exjade. Most recently, Dr. Mohanlal was the Clinical Head of Established Oncology Products for Novartis, where he managed all clinical and regulatory maintenance work for the division, which represented total annual revenue of approximately $2 billion. He also developed immuno-oncology development programs based on checkpoint inhibitor combination therapy at AstraZeneca. Prior to this, Dr. Mohanlal held positions with Interleukin Genetics as Chief Medical Officer and Vertex Pharmaceuticals as Medical Director. Dr. Mohanlal has also obtained extensive licensing and deal-making experience at Syntium Inc. Dr. Mohanlal earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in Experimental CV Pharmacology, both from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands, as well as his M.B.A. from the American Intercontinental University in Illinois, with post-graduate business training at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Juliann Molecavage, DHA, MSHA, BSHM has 18 years’ experience with Geisinger Health. Her focus is on quality, primary care practice redesign, information technology solutions and operations and has led many organizational-wide strategic initiatives. Juliann graduated from Walden University with a Doctorate Degree in Healthcare Administration. Juliann is responsible for overseeing Quality initiatives for the Geisinger Medicine Institute as well as the implementation of new models of care for Geisinger. In addition, Juliann has been leading the efforts of new program development for Geisinger’s vulnerable populations. These projects will be starting in the Summer of 2019, opening two new Federally Qualified Health Centers as well as two new Senior Focused Primary Care centers. She was accountable to direct the development, implementation and dissemination of primary care innovation initiatives, specifically as they relate to meeting the needs of the communities they serve and streamlining the use of the electronic health record, point of care workflows and pre-visit workflows across 50 primary care practices. Juliann is accountable at a system level to lead and manage the identification and closure of clinical care gaps across primary and specialty care. She focused on achieving best practices and following evidence-based guidelines with emphasis on improving quality, patient safety and clinic operations.

Jeffrey is a Managing Director in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s life sciences practice and is the head of real-world evidence (RWE) and value-based contracting (VBC) solutions within ConvergeHEALTH by Deloitte. His work spans strategy development and large-scale implementations to transform how health care data is accessed, managed and applied at an enterprise level. Jeffrey has significant experience helping life sciences companies expand the use of real-world data across the product life cycle, from informing R&D; decisions through new value-based commercialization models.

Jessica joined the Emerson PHO in September 2016 with responsibility for all Physician- Hospital Organization finance, strategy, and operations.

Prior to joining the Emerson PHO, Jessica was Director of Population Health Management at Partners HealthCare. Overseeing strategy and programming for the Integrated Care Management Program, a system-wide care management program for medically complex/high risk patients, as well as administrative oversight of system-wide efforts in Behavioral Health Integration and Post Acute/Care Continuing Care.

Jessica has a background in health policy and public health. Prior to joining Partners HealthCare, Jessica was the Administrative Director for the Health Care Quality and Cost Council, the body responsible for setting quality improvement and cost containment goals for Massachusetts. Jessica has an extensive background in public health programming domestically and internationally. This work includes the Director of HIV Community Services at the Cambridge Health Alliance, providing consultant services to hospitals, schools, and NGOs throughout South Africa, and serving as Peace Corps volunteer in Bolivia.

Jessica completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with a Master’s Degree in Public Health in International Health and Development.

Amy Mullins, MD, CPE, FAAFP, currently serves as the Medical Director for Quality Improvement for the American Academy of Family Physicians. She most recently served as both a practicing family physician and as medical director at Trinity Clinic in Whitehouse, Texas, where she worked from 2002 to 2013. Current responsibilities with the AAFP include liaison work with other national organizations in the quality arena, as well as national-level policy and advocacy work regarding payment reform. A native of Texas, she is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and The University of Texas Medical Branch.

Dr. Nguyen is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 20 years of industry experience. In his current role as SVP, Population Health, Anthony oversees our Accountable Care Organizations (ACO)/Care Coordination Organizations (CCO) care delivery channels, Member Engagement programs and National HEDIS teams that measure outcomes. Their goal is to drive an end-to-end, holistic approach to how we deliver, measure and improve care for our members.

Anthony is passionate about making the health care system work better. In that endeavor, he leads our digital voice strategy where members can access information and receive care seamlessly.

Dr. Nguyen was a partner physician for Kaiser Permanente and served as VP of the Medical Staff, Orange County, CA. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Nguyen received his M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine and MHCDS from Dartmouth College. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Irvine. Anthony lives in Southern California and is an avid surfer.

Derek Novak serves as the President of MercyOne Population Health Services Organization, formally Mercy ACO, headquartered in Des Moines Iowa. As a subsidiary of MercyOne, MercyOne PHSO leads population health and payment reform efforts for its network consisting of 200+ participant organizations with over 4,000 providers across Iowa, NE-Nebraska and, SW-Wisconsin. Today MercyOne PHSO manages 20+ value/risk based agreements with over 300,000 attributed members, which accounts for 10%+ of Iowa’s entire population.

After spending nearly a decade leading operational improvement efforts within industry and healthcare, Mr. Novak transitioned to accountable care by joining MercyOne’s Accountable Care division in 2012. In his role Derek leads operational and strategic efforts related MercyOne’s transition from volume to volume & value.

Mr. Novak is a past graduate of the Iowa Hospital Association Executive Academy, holds certifications by the American Society of Quality as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Manager of Quality & Organizational Excellence. As the Director of Government Programs for Novant Health Medical Group, Kim Nunnally is tasked with the strategic and operational leadership of two Medicare Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) serving approximately 85,000 assigned beneficiaries in the Carolinas and Virginia. In partnership with senior leaders across Novant Health, Kim leads the development, implementation, and advancement of multiple innovative pilot programs, provider engagement strategies, and care transformation initiatives across the entire care continuum to support achievement of the Quadruple Aim. Additionally, her team is responsible for in-depth analysis and interpretation of federal regulatory policies to inform organizational decision-making, provider education on clinical documentation improvement, annual quality performance monitoring and reporting, and EHR regulatory optimization.

Prior to this role, Kim served in various capacities across Novant Health to include: service line operations leadership, strategic planning, program management, and finance. Barbara Price joined Scripps Health in 2001 and is the Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Executive of Scripps Accountable Care Organization. In partnership with the physician Board, she leads the Accountable Care Organization for Scripps Health. Using a lean leadership and problem solving approach, she focuses on building population health capabilities to support the 1800 participating physicians in improving care and reducing spend for purchasers.

Price has extensive experience working with medical group and health system operations within competitive health care environments. Prior to joining Scripps, Price held leadership positions with Kaiser Permanente, Sharp Healthcare, KPMG Peat Marwick, Sequoia Hospital, and Stanford University Medical Center. As a consultant, her clients included large medical groups, academic and community hospitals, integrated health care systems and other health care organizations.

Price received a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Walter Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. She is the recipient of YWCA Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) award. She also sits on the University of Phoenix Health Programs Advisory Board and serves as a board member for the Institute for Healthcare Advancement, focusing on health literacy issues and improvement.

Melissa Real is the Director of Americas Region Benefits for Qualcomm. Qualcomm invents breakthrough technologies that transform how the world computes, connects and communicates. In her role, Melissa is responsible for the overall strategy and administration of Health and Welfare and Retirement Plans for over 10,000 employees in the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico. Since joining Qualcomm, Melissa has been instrumental in the successful launch of a custom Accountable Care Organization (ACO) for Qualcomm’s San Diego based employees. Melissa has over 20 years of experience in HR with a focus on helping organizations create and promote Total Rewards programs that align with their strategic business objectives. Melissa has worked in a variety of industries including health care, environmental services, manufacturing and high tech and holds a number of HR certifications including SHRM-CP, PHR and CCP designations.

Christian Reich is VP, Real World Solutions at IQVIA, leading a team of data scientists, software developers and informaticians to offer standardized analytics across a large global network of observational data. He is also Principal Investigator at the Observational Health Data Science and Informatics (OHDSI) collaborative, which focuses on creating comprehensive evidence about disease, healthcare delivery and the effects of medical interventions through large-scale analysis of RWD. Prior to that he was a PI and Program Manager at the OMOP Program.

Christian has more than 15 years of experience in life science research and medicine. He was a practicing physician in Berlin and Ulm, Germany before moving to the European Bioinformatics Institute to work on the Human Genome Project. He then joined the biotech industry in 1998, where he worked in various positions on typical challenges in drug research and development, such as gene sequence and expression analysis, clinical trial design and analysis, systems biology, and outcome research, applying computational methods to large scale biological data. He held positions of Global Head of Discovery Informatics and Research and Development Information for Global Medicines Development North America at AstraZeneca.

Christian received his bachelor’s degree in preclinical training from Humboldt University in Berlin and holds his M.D. and doctorate from the Medical University of Lübeck, Germany where he focused his research on T-cell activation and regulation.

Oraida Roman, MHA, is Vice President of Value Based Strategies for Humana, leading the organizational advancement of innovative payment models that enable Humana to support providers as population health managers in value-based care relationships. The Value Based Strategies organization develops, supports and deploys the best programs, practices and capabilities that assist Humana’s provider partners and internal customers to successfully achieve enterprise value based goals. Roman’s career with Humana spans more than 18 years, holding various management roles, including Regional President, Director of Operations, and Director of Provider Contracting. Prior to being Vice President for Humana, Roman worked for several years with DaVita Medical Group as the Chief Operating Officer of Florida and Market President of Colorado. Roman holds a Master’s in Health Administration from University of South Florida and an undergraduate degree in Biology from Florida State University.

Emily Rose is Premera’s Provider Network Management & Solutions Strategic Initiatives Manager. In this role, she is responsible for provider network development in the WA individual market, and provider contracting and relationship management with strategic provider groups in the Premera and LifeWise WA markets.

Ms. Rose has nearly 20 years of experience working with provider networks. She previously worked at Molina Healthcare of Washington, where she worked on provider network strategy, network development, contract implementation, and provider relations for Medicaid and Washington Exchange products.

Jerry has over 25 years of experience in a wide range of healthcare-related activities. As a healthcare executive, he co-developed and co-administered programs focused on healthcare delivery and payment-model reforms, including bundled payments. He also provided oversight, guidance, and operational structure for the Maternity Care Home care management program to address psychosocial needs for high-risk Medicaid mothers and their children. The results included enhanced care delivery, improved quality of care, and improved outcomes at a lower cost.

Jerry has also served in an advocacy role for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service and the Innovation Center, provided information to legislators, and advocated for reform in healthcare delivery and payment policy. Previously, Jerry served as Executive Director and VP of Research at the Institute for Science and Health, where among other accomplishments, he raised corporate funding for targeted health-science research programs for rare or underfunded diseases.

In addition to his experience as a healthcare executive and researcher, Jerry served as a professor of anatomy and authored over 30 peer-reviewed research articles.

Celia Segel serves as the Director of Comparative Effectiveness Research Policy Development at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER). In this capacity, she convenes leading health care organizations both within the U.S. and internationally to address challenges in evidence-based methods and to develop policy recommendations related to technology assessment, coverage decision-making, and health care financing. Celia joined ICER in 2016, managing health technology assessments for emerging treatments for liver disease, psoriasis, arthritis, opioid addiction prevention, tardive dyskinesia, hemophilia, and endometriosis. Prior to her time at ICER, Celia worked as a political organizer and advocate, running campaigns to improve access and affordability of health care. Celia has also worked on a number of political campaigns and in the Senate office of Senator Al Franken. Celia received a B.A. from Carleton College and a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, earning several awards for her thesis on pharmaceutical cost control strategies for state Medicaid programs.

Drew Sheinen is the Senior Director of Value Based Solutions for Delaware, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. His team is responsible for overall performance for Medicare Collaborations and customer specific arrangements such as the State of Delaware and the Pennsylvania Employee Benefit Trust Fund (PEBTF). He also works closely with the Vice Presidents of Provider Network related to strategy for increasing Aetna’s value based presence across the Keystone Market.

Prior to his current role, Drew managed the Provider Experience organization for Aetna Better Health of Pennsylvania. He has 25 years of experience in health care including 23 years with Aetna in multiple roles as well as 2 years as the Vice President of Network Solutions for Kindred Healthcare.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Binghamton University and a Master of Management with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Penn State University.

Serving as Executive Director of Valley Health System’s Clinically Integrated Network and Population Health Department, Frank oversees operations and functions pertaining to all contracted value-based programs with CMS and commercial payors.

Frank brings over 30 years of healthcare experience as a clinician, consultant and hospital executive. Before joining the Valley Health System in 2017, Frank served as Vice President of Professional Services in the Temple University Health System in Philadelphia and Director in Medical Management at Emblem Health - Advantage Care Physicians in New York City. Frank completed his MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University, is a certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a trained Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University.

Dr. Spotts received his medical degree from Penn State University’s College of Medicine in 1993 and completed a residency in Family Medicine in Harrisburg, PA before returning to his hometown area near Lewisburg, PA to found his private practice of family medicine. He became interested in transitions of care while serving as medical director of a skilled nursing facility during the advent of increased usage of the electronic medical record. He became Evangelical Community Hospital’s first CMIO and worked collaboratively with Geisinger Medical Center and the early founding of the Keystone HIE and ACO in 2011. As his leadership responsibilities grew, Dr. Spotts became Chief Health Information Officer in 2016 and then was named Vice President /Chief Population Health Officer of Meritus Health in Hagerstown, MD in 2018 where he leads a number of community and ambulatory health initiatives including the founding of Meritus Health’s Family Medicine Residency Program and Meritus’ first CTO (Care Transformation Organization) under the Maryland Primary Care Program. He has served as a Past President of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians and is current President of the American Academy of Family Physicians Foundation. He was named a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2007 and a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia in 2018. He has been married to his wife Sue Ellen for 25 years, and they are the proud parents of two adult children, Ian and Hannah. Outside of medicine and physician leadership, Doug enjoys music of all kinds, running, and any outdoor activity.

Maraya Thorland is the Interim Chief Operating Officer of UNC Health Alliance, UNC Health Care’s Clinically Integrated Network and Next Generation Accountable Care Organization. Ms. Thorland leads a team in the development, implementation and ongoing management of value-based care initiatives to ensure successful clinical and financial results. Ms. Thorland brings over twenty years of broad industry experience, successfully leading teams in a number of roles, ranging from pharmacy and care management operations to strategic development initiatives. She has held various leadership positions at Biologics, a McKesson Specialty Company, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, and established and managed a consulting company that provided business development and program and project management services for clients in the health care and higher education industries.

Ms. Thorland served on the boards of Wake Teen Medical Services and North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center, and currently serves as president on the board of the Women’s Birth and Wellness Center. Ms. Thorland earned a bachelor’s degree in health and public policy from Michigan State University, and a master’s of public health degree in health management from the University of Michigan.

Joseph S. Vasile, MD, MBA joined the Greater Rochester Independent Practice Association (GRIPA) and Cognisight as President/CEO in July 2010.

Dr. Vasile is a practicing physician in the specialty of Behavioral Health with a subspecialty in Geriatric Psychiatry. He has held several hospital and administrative appointments in Rochester, including Chief of the Behavioral Health Network for the Rochester General Health System, Director of Psychiatry and Mental Health Services at the Rochester Rehabilitation Center, Chief Psychiatrist for Geriatric Psychiatry, Intermediate Care and Neuropsychiatry Units at Rochester Psychiatric Center and Director of Acute Psychiatric Services at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Vasile has served on a number of hospital committees dedicated to quality, education, and organizational planning. Dr. Vasile is active in several professional and scientific societies and has published articles in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry and Schizophrenia Research. He is a member of the American College of Physician Executives and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, majoring in the history of science and medicine, received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Following a residency in Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh, Vasile completed a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Vasile is a Clinical Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Neil Wagle is the Chief Medical Officer at Devoted Health.

Prior to joining Devoted Health, Neil was the Associate Chief Quality Officer at Partners HealthCare.

He has been a pioneer in the field of quality measurement and Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement, founding a leading program and advising other health systems and government organizations. He successfully pioneered the use of more clinically relevant electronic quality measures in incentive programs. He has also served in the Department of Population Health Management advocating for tools to help physicians perform high-value care for patients without adding to the physician burnout crisis.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University. He received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School cum laude in the Harvard/MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology where he was a Howard Hughes Fellow and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Management Leadership Track. He has also completed the Program in Clinical Effectiveness at Harvard School of Public Health. After his experience in two startup ventures, he earned an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar. Dr. Wagle continues to practice primary care at Brigham and Women’s Primary Physicians and serves as faculty at Harvard Medical School.

Tiffany Wandy is the Executive Director of the Clinically Integrated Network for LifeBridge Health, a $2.4B regional health care organization based in northwest Baltimore and its surrounding counties. LifeBridge Health consists of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, LifeBridge Health & Fitness, hundreds of primary care and specialty physicians throughout the region, and many affiliated health-related partners.

Prior to joining LifeBridge, Tiffany was a Senior Data Analyst and Lead Program Consultant for the CareFirst Patient-Centered Medical (PCMH) Program where she served as an advisor to primary care providers on best practices relating to the implementation of coordinated care delivery models. Tiffany has both payor and provider experience and leverages this knowledge to drive increased use of analytics, business development, and practice transformation for rural, suburban, and urban organizations. Tiffany started her career in China, first working in crisis counseling and suicide prevention for LifeLine Shanghai and then later as a Community Marketing Manager for Parkway Health, a Singapore-based hospital system with eight clinics across China.

Tiffany holds a bachelor’s degree in Eastern European and Slavic Studies from The University of Massachusetts-Amherst, an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business, and an MPH from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Tiffany is from Connecticut and now resides in Maryland with her two dogs. When she’s not working on various population health initiatives, Tiffany enjoys re-training retired Thoroughbreds and competing her three upper level event horses.

Eric Wittbrodt is Renal Evidence Strategy Lead, in the Biopharmaceuticals Medical unit of AstraZeneca based in Gaithersburg, MD, and is responsible for the strategy and execution of Medical and Payer Evidence generation activities in chronic kidney disease. Eric joined joined AstraZeneca US in 2016 as Director, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, supporting Diabetes, Respiratory, and Multispecialty compounds. In 2018 he joined AstraZeneca Global Medical Affairs as an epidemiologist.

Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Eric was associate professor of clinical pharmacy at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, followed by field-based medical affairs roles at TAP Pharmaceuticals, Takeda, and Daiichi Sankyo. Eric earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Michigan, completed a research fellowship in critical care pharmacology at the University of Minnesota, and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina.
