Yalcin Baltali is Senior Manager in Business Analytics at Pfizer. His responsibilities include providing business analytics / business development results and insights to support decision making in developing optimal allocation of brand assets within the commercial business units.

Prior to Pfizer, Yalcin was Senior Manager at IMS Health, where he applied his extensive experience with statistical modeling in Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) to help Pharmaceutical clients accurately identify customer segments, properly structure and align their sales forces, and optimally spend their sales force resources across their product portfolio. He translated his thorough understanding of business questions with the expertise to analyze and provide actionable analytical results for the complex, bottom-line oriented, high visibility projects. He involved in data driven consulting projects where some of the required analytics are promotional mix analysis, customer segmentation & targeting, and data mining. Moreover, he leveraged promotional modeling and optimization techniques to design and measure commercial and strategic tactics. Furthermore, he gained experience in manage care analytics, marketing research & design, and pricing analytics.

Yalcin is currently studying on his Executive Master in Consulting & Couching for Change at INSEAD. He received his MBA from Temple University, Philadelphia. He also obtained his MS in Applied Statistics from Purdue University, Indianapolis. He has a BA degree in Mathematics from METU, Turkey.

Mr. Brennan was appointed President and Executive Director of HCCI in June 2017. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing HCCI’s advancements in price transparency and public reporting, increasing both the comprehensiveness and access to HCCI’s expansive data set, as well as working with state policy and decision makers to improve their health care systems. He is a nationally recognized expert in health care policy, the use of health care data to enable and accelerate health system change, and data transparency. He has published widely in leading academic journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine and Health Affairs. Prior to joining HCCI, Mr. Brennan was Chief Data Officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). He has also worked at the Brookings Institution, the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission, the Congressional Budget Office, the Urban Institute, and Price WaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Brennan received his MPP from Georgetown University and his BA from University College Dublin, Ireland.

Dr. Comfort is Associate Director for Risk Management and Sr. Safety Science Leader for Roche- Genentech Late Stage Ophthalmology/Hematology Products. He is a Board Certified Neurologist with 13 years combined industry/regulatory experience including roles as former Medical Reviewer at the US FDA, VP of Clinical Research at Anesiva, and CMO for Adaptix Clinical Solutions. Most recently, he has been involved in evaluating Artificial Intelligence solutions for Pharmacovigilance using IBM Watson. He has a broad range of interests and experience including operations research, statistics, and computational physics.

Jacqueline Corrigan-Curay, J.D., M.D., serves as Director of CDER’s Office of Medical Policy (OMP). She leads the development, coordination, and implementation of medical policy programs and strategic initiatives. She works collaboratively with other CDER program areas, FDA centers, and stakeholders on enhancing policies to improve drug development and regulatory review processes.

OMP is comprised of the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) and the Office of Medical Policy Initiatives (OMPI). OPDP oversees the regulation of prescription drug promotion and advertising. OMPI provides oversight and direction for new and ongoing policy initiatives in broad-based medical and clinical policy areas.

Prior to joining FDA, she served as supervisory medical officer with the Immediate Office of the Director, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), at National Institute of Health’s (NIH) where she focused on developing policies and procedures to enhance the clinical trial enterprise. She also served as the Director of the Office of Biotechnology Activities (OBA), Office of Science Policy at NIH, where she was executive secretary of the NIH Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee. She has held positions as an attending physician with the VA Medical Center, a policy analyst with the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment, and a practicing attorney in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Corrigan-Curay earned her law degree from Harvard Law School, her medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine, and a bachelor’s degree in history of science from Harvard/Radcliffe College in Cambridge, MA. She completed her training in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center, where she also served as a clinical assistant professor of medicine. She continues to practice internal medicine part-time at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dilesh is the Senior Director for Population Health Research at Janssen Scientific Affairs, LLC. As the lead of this newly formed group, Dilesh is responsible for shaping and executing Population Health Research strategies and partnerships across all Janssen therapeutic areas. His responsibilities include determining customer-centric population health related evidence priorities and conducting collaborative projects with leading Health Systems. His team partners with these systems to help improve their execution around Population Health Management. Dilesh has over 18 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry using real world evidence to demonstrate the value of medications to support optimal patient access and reimbursement of products across various diseases and patient populations. Prior to his Population Health role, he was the Director of Translational Science Team at Janssen where he managed a team of research scientists who were responsible for conducting health services research using real world data and developing economic models that support the value proposition of Janssen products. Prior to joining J&J;, he worked at AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithkline within Global Medical Affairs groups.

Dilesh received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Central Connecticut State Univ. and a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the Univ. of California, San Francisco and completed a 2 year post graduate fellowship at Thomas Jefferson School of Population Health in Philadelphia, PA.

He has over 60 conference presentations and peer reviewed publications including book chapters, manuscripts, white papers, and posters. He is also a member of a number of external organizations that shape the future of healthcare such as the Accountable Care Learning Collaborative and the Health Management Academy’s Population Health Collaborative and has been invited to speak at international conferences such as the BIO International Convention.

Dr. Shahram Ebadollahi is the Vice President of Innovations (R&D;) and Chief Science Officer of IBM Watson Health. He is the technical founder of Watson Health, IBM's first vertical industry business unit in 2015, building on his previous role as the global head and founder of Health Informatics Research for IBM. He oversees all product engineering, innovation incubation, and intellectual property for Watson Health. In his capacity as the Chief Science and Technology Officer, he determines the overall technical and scientific strategy for Watson Health and IBM as a whole in the area of healthcare and life sciences.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Ebadollahi was the global head and founder of Health Informatics Research for IBM, which spanned IBM's global research labs in Asia, Europe, Africa and the US. He has pioneered novel technologies in the area of health analytics and computational health, has published many scientific publications, and has led scientific projects funded by national agencies.

Dr. Ebadollahi received his masters and doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, where he worked on the analysis of multi-modal medical documents. He also has a MBA degree from Columbia University. His interests span, healthcare, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at various healthcare and health analytics related events.

As the Senior Director, Dr. Kamal Jethwani leads the research and program evaluation initiatives at Partners Connected Health Innovation.

He has designed and implemented multiple clinical trials; led predictive modeling efforts using behavioral parameters; and worked extensively with sensor technology, wearables, mobile applications, texting, and social media to deliver patient care. Kamal is currently exploring newer health delivery models, including employer-based health programs and online social-network-based programs. He focuses on technology-based models of health delivery and leverages behavior-change principles for preventive and supportive care. He tries, always, to personalize care and understand the behavioral motivations that dictate people’s health choices.

Lindsay?Jubelt, MD, MSc?is?the Senior Medical Director of Population Health at Mount Sinai Health System and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Icahn School of Medicine. In her work she aims to deliver new models of affordable, high-quality care for patients and employer groups. Dr. Jubelt?is also a practicing physician in the Mount Sinai Hospital internal medicine clinic.

Dr.?Jubelt?received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania her M.D. from Stony Brook University.?She completed her internal medicine?residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital?followed by?training in health services research?via?the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania.? ?

Anna Georgieva Kondic is a mathematician by training, receiving her PhD in Mathematical Physics from Duke University in 1998. Anna is a native of Bulgaria, she came to the US in 1989 to complete her undergraduate studies in mathematics at Denision University in Granville, Ohio, where she graduated magna cum laude and as a presidential medalist in 1992. Following her PhD, Anna worked as a postdoctoral fellow in inhalation computational toxicology, evaluating the long-term risks of inhaled formaldehyde in humans using computational fluid dynamics and physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling.

After a two year visiting professor position at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Anna joined the preclinical modeling group at Novartis Pharma, focusing on arthritis and osteoporosis. Through various reorganizations, Anna spent some time in the modeling group within the Biomarker department focusing on both bioinformatics methods for discover, as well as mechanistic models and eventually landed in the larger modeling group supporting the whole continuum of research and development. Anns's therapeutic area experience is diverse as she has worked to support arthritis, osteoporosis, Oncology, diabetes and cardio-vascular disease using both empirical and mechanistic models to aid quantitative decision making.

During the last 4 years, Anna has been at Merck, starting first as an individual contributor and then transitioning to lead the quantitative support for CV and women's health and then for oncology. during the last two years, the focus has been to devise and implement the filing strategy for Keytruda, whiose clinical pharmacology strategy and dose selection heavily rely on popPK and exposure-response models, This strategy has successfully lead to the approval of Keytruda in the large melanoma indication, (biomarker enriched )2L NSCLC patient population in US and 2L HNSCC. PK/PD arguments are being used to transition the drug to a fixed dose, possibly creating a competitive advantage through decreased wastage and less potential for errors.

Between 2003 and 2008, Anna attended NYU Stern School of Business where she graduated from with an MBA specializing in negotiations (she was also was the TA for a negotiations class in 2006-07). Anna's interest lies in how to reconcile the interests of different parties and how to expand the pie, so that everyone walks away with a positive feeling about a deal. Anna structured a more than 2 mil deal with Entelos on the creation of a mechanistic model of blood pressure regulation with specific emphasis on the kidney.

Throughout her career, Anna has mentored a number of PHD students, postdocs and junior scientists.

Dr. Pandu Kulkarni is the Chief Analytics Officer / Vice President of Biometrics and Advanced Analytics Organization leading an organization of nearly 700 people comprising of Statisticians from discovery to commercialization, Medical writing, and Data Standards and Technology.

He obtained his Ph.D. in Statistics at the LaTrobe University, Melbourne, Australia.

He taught and did research in statistics at the University of South Alabama for 10 years where he attained tenure and full professorship.

He received several grants from the Air Force for the development of techniques to evaluate and study the effects of environmental contaminants such as dioxin on humans. He also received grants from NASA to study the effects of microgravity to see the effectiveness of exercise countermeasures in minimizing the effects of microgravity on astronauts.

He joined Eli Lilly in 2000 and has held numerous leadership positions including technical and management positions within and outside of Statistics.

He has given numerous invited presentations across the globe to provide training, Continuing Medical Education, and workshops on the use of statistics in medical research.

He has published more than 50 articles in statistics and medical areas in peer reviewed journals.

Mr. Molinaro has specialized in transforming and building secure, quantitatively repeatable and compliant Information Technology and Enterprise Risk and Security Departments. Flexible information services can be delivered quickly and secure by developing and integrating proven mature methodologies in security, risk, project, software-development, quality and service management with Business Process Management (BPM) Software in business and technology. Mr. Molinaro has been assisting organizations in business and technology engineering and process improvement and low code deployments over a 33 year career. His experience spans multiple industry verticals that include military, manufacturing/engineering, software/ecommerce, retail, telecommunications/cloud, healthcare, education, insurance and medical diagnostics/Biotech. Mr. Molinaro has held technical and management positions at leading companies and organizations such as the United States Army, Cellular One, MCI Telecommunications Inc., Movado, Ground Travel Technology Team Inc., AEGIS Insurance Services Inc., Bright House Networks and BioReference Laboratories.

Mr. Molinaro holds a Bachelors of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology with a focus in robotics/software automation and a Master’s of Science in Information Technology and Cybersecurity, is currently completing an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology with a goal to achieve a graduate degree in Physics afterwards. Mr. Molinaro is also a veteran of the United States Army Signal Corps and was nominated runner-up for the CISO of the year by the EC-Council security group (2014 and 2016) and CIO of the year by the Tampa Bay Technology Forum in 2014. He formerly held several “technical” certifications and currently maintains multiple IT, security and risk certifications; CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT), C|CISO (Certified Chief Information Security Officer), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), ITIL (Version 3 Foundations Certification).

Mr. Molinaro was the executive leader and architect of the overall Cyber Defense of the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida (National Public Event and others like the RNC) as well as the head of the IT Dept. Sophie Shen, PhD, is the Director, Healthcare Quality at Johnson & Johnson. In her role, Sophie ensures that Janssen Oncology strategies support the overarching movement to value-based care.

Previously, Sophie worked for J&J; Worldwide Government Affairs and Policy team in Washington DC where she was responsible for Medicare coding and reimbursement analysis for J&J; medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. Recently, she successfully requested for a new DRG for cardiac ablations. She began her career at United Health/Optum in 2006, where she led efforts to develop outpatient imaging efficiency measures that CMS later adopted for Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting. She later spent two years at Brookings Institution where she worked with five private ACOs to set up their performance measurement system and provided technical assistance to 17 communities to develop HIT infrastructure to transform local healthcare systems. Additionally, Sophie worked with American Board of Medical Specialties to develop 22 cost and efficiency measures associated with 20 high-priority clinical conditions and tested in four different markets. Sophie graduated from George Washington University and completed her Doctor of Public Health at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Elena Tkachev is a Vice President, ACO Analytics at Collaborative Health Systems, subsidiary of Wellcare Health Plans Inc. and supports 18 ACOs with over 4,200 physicians serving 222,000 Medicare beneficiaries. She focuses on transforming information into insight to improve managerial operations and prescribe clinical action that enhances beneficiary health outcomes. Previously, Elena worked at McKinsey Healthcare Analytics Group, where she concentrated on design and development of Innovative Population-Based Delivery and Payment Models. Elena also held leadership positions at Horizon BCBS of New Jersey, Anthem and Milliman. Elena earned an MBA from Fordham University and a BS in actuarial science from Maryville University.

Jennifer L. Wong is the Chief of Strategic Alliances for CancerLinQ LLC, a big data and health information technology venture of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). As a business executive and ambassador for CancerLinQ, Jennifer leads strategy and alliances by creating novel public, private and not-for-profit partnerships with institutions and influencers. With experience across the health care, data and technology sectors, she is a change agent that has brought together the power of partnership, collaboration and innovation to convene and create the CancerLinQ community–driving thought leadership, building coalitions, launching key engagements and catalyzing a movement to accelerate the development of novel data-driven, evidence-based solutions and ventures with impact.

Prior to joining CancerLinQ, Jennifer served as the Director of Strategic Innovation and Clinical Ventures at the American College of Cardiology (ACC). As Managing Director of the Diabetes Collaborative Registry®, she was instrumental in the launch of the first global, multispecialty, clinical, big data diabetes initiative with a network of leading organizations, and led growth and development strategy for the PINNACLE (Practice Innovation and Clinical Excellence) Registry®, the largest ambulatory cardiovascular quality improvement registry in the United States.

Jennifer also worked in medical education at the Association of American Medical Colleges, co-founded an educational technology startup, and led national-scale admissions recruitment strategies to advance talented young women in their pursuit of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. Jennifer graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a degree in Biology and concentrations in Spanish and Brain and Cognitive Sciences. Chang has 10 years rich experience in pharmacy analytics in the pharmaceutical and health insurance industries. Her experience includes promotional return on investment, pilot design and evaluation, brand strategy, forecasting, predictive modeling, optimization, clinical trial, and health outcomes research. She currently works as an Associate Director in Product Analytics at Novartis. Before she joined Novartis, she was part of the Global Business Analytics team at Pfizer. Before she joined Pfizer, she was part of the Specialty Pharmacy Analytics team at Cigna. Prior to Cigna, she was a member of the US Commercial Decision Team at Eli Lilly, focusing on return on investment, optimization, pilot design and evaluation, and physician targeting. Chang has a Master’s degree in Biostatistics from UIC.
