Congressman Michael Burgess (R-TX) to Deliver Keynote Address
Congressman Burgess is the most senior medical doctor serving in the House of Representatives. He is a strong advocate for health care legislation aimed at reducing health care costs, improving choices, reforming liability laws to put the needs of patients first, and ensuring there are enough doctors in the public and private sector to care for America’s patients and veterans.
The 14th Annual World Health Care Congress convenes decision makers from all sectors of health care to catalyze meaningful partnerships and change. In 2017, faculty focus on the impact of repeal and replace, health care consolidation, consumer engagement, digital health, the shift from FFS to value-based payment, and scalable, innovative care models and technologies that show promise in reducing cost and increasing quality.
