We are proud to announce the 10th Annual Physician Advisor Summit celebrating a decade dedicated towards this evolving role.  From our great success in 2012, our 10th Annual Summit will continue to build on that achievement with new and innovative sessions and content. 

We invite you to join us at the 10th Annual Physician Advisor Summit focusing on the evolving role of the Physician Advisor.  Over the course of two days, you will hear from fellow peers on how to implement a physician advisor program within your hospital, how to effectively use your resources, while addressing the managed care requirements and the processes involved in patient utilization and case management. 

By attending the 10th Annual Physician Advisor Summit participants will develop strategies for effectively practicing as a Physician Advisor in their organization.

Topics to be addressed include:

• Clarifying and defining the evolving role of today’s physician advisor  
• Demonstrating the tools and techniques required to be an effective communicator and leader
• Examining the organizational issues surrounding how a physician advisor interacts with other stakeholders within the hospital setting  
• Discussing rules and regulations involving observation vs. inpatient status
• Understanding the current state of ICD-10 implementation and appropriate coding procedures
• Reviewing what’s new in technology that affects the physician advisor’s practice
• Tools and techniques required by physician advisors to adapt to the changing requirements in the changing landscape of healthcare
