The Physician Liaison is the gateway to referrals for hospitals/health systems. While the general purpose of the role remains the same, the challenges facing the liaison are becoming increasingly more difficult.
Changes resulting from health care reform are placing immense pressure on Liaisons. With the creation of ACO’s, PCMH’s and the popularity of narrow networks, liaisons are beginning to lose their referral sources, and question the future of their role.
Liaisons are also faced with the same on-going challenges as well, delivering meaningful results to senior management, generating new and unique referral sources, and building lasting relationships with referring providers.
The 4th Physician Liaison Summit – East, brings together various liaisons, business development and marketing professionals to strategize and implement solutions that drive referrals.
Over the course of two days attendees will have the opportunity to network with peers, and learn best practices from industry professionals on topics including; building last relationships with referrers, increasing referrals, and engaging physicians.
