Bryan Adams is the Chief Commercial Officer of GreatCall, Inc., the leader in connected health for active aging. Bryan joined the company in December of 2016 as a part of the Healthsense acquisition. Bryan leads a cross-functional team that addresses two related areas. The first is the company’s broad data science initiative: leveraging the company’s sizable data set to improve the experience for both internal and external customers. The second is the commercial product: ensuring that the GreatCall offering in the healthcare space both leverages the company’s data science department and also meets the broader needs of the market. Prior to GreatCall, Bryan was the CTO at Healthsense for almost 5 years, where he led the engineering, IT, product management, customer service, and clinical service teams. Prior to that, he was the CTO and founder of a startup in the mobile advertising space, and prior to that he was a Principal Investigator at iRobot, helping them start a healthcare group. He holds a BS, MEng, and PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

With a decade of experience in worksite health promotion, Megan has a depth of knowledge in implementing strategic health promotion programs for large global institutions.

In her current role at Citi Megan is a key player in the development and implementation of Citi’s global wellness strategy. She is responsible for developing Citi’s global health promotion programs that are implemented acoss the organization. She acts as a consultant to countries and regions as they develop their wellness programs and spearheds collaborationg between various departments such as benefits, fitness, dining, corporate reality, and global public affairs to continue to expand awareness of Citi’s wellness priorities.

She has expertise in chronic condition prevention, employee engagment, strategic planning, health promotion program planning and implementation. Megan has a Masters of Science in Health Promotion Management from American University, Bacherlors Degree in Human Movement from Sacred Heart University, and is CHES Certified.

David Contorno is President of Lake Norman Benefits, now part of the Hilb Group and one of the employee benefit practice leaders inside this now top 40 largest insurance agency. As a native of New York, David began his career in the insurance industry at the age of 14, and has since become a leading expert in the realm of employee benefits over the last 21 years. The Hilb Group continues to grow organically by ensuring all management is handled locally, providing top notch solutions and supports, and through strategic acquisitions.

Among his many accolades, David received a Broker Spotlight in 2004 and was recognized as an outstanding Broker of Service in 2005 through 2014 by Blue Cross Blue Shield. He has continually received the Echelon Award by United Healthcare since 2003, reserved for the top 1% of agents nationally, and was a 2015 "40 Under 40" Award Winner presented by Charlotte Business Journal. Most recently, David was Benefits Selling Magazine's 2015 Broker of the Year and, in March 2016, Forbes deemed him "One of America's Most Innovative Benefits Leaders."

David is a member of the Board of Directors for both the Charlotte Association of Health Underwriters and Healthreach Community Clinic. He served on the NC Insurance Commissioners Life and Health Agent Advisory Committee, as well as participated in the Technical Advisory Group that helped with the Market Reforms required under the Affordable Care Act in North Carolina. He is a long-time member of the Lake Norman and South Iredell Chambers of Commerce as well as the National, North Carolina, New York and Long Island Associations of Health Underwriters. David contributes to numerous publications, including Forbes, Benefits Selling Magazine, Business Leader Magazine and Insurance Thought Leadership.

David is committed to giving back to his community and actively participates in the membership drive for the United Way, assisting the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and supporting The Dove House Child Advocacy Center. When he is not working, he enjoys boating, traveling, and being with his wife, Heather, and their two children, Hannah and Ethan.

With over 18 years’ experience in the Benefits and Human Resources space, Darci’s background encompasses a comprehensive depth and breadth of knowledge. She has worked in many sectors including e-commerce, media, private industry, benefits brokerage, government contracting and security over the span of her career. She currently serves as the Senior Manager, Global Benefits at Fanatics, Inc located in Jacksonville, FL where she is building a broad spectrum of domestic and international employee benefits and programs for today’s diverse workforce. Previously, she was the Senior Manager, Benefits of SiriusXM Radio, Inc and a Senior Account Manager at an international benefits brokerage firm.

Darci’s career focus goes beyond benefits and human resources to include Wellness and HRIS Management. Throughout her career she has designed and implemented a wide spectrum of integrated benefits and wellness programs addressing the needs of clients from boutique to large scale solutions.

Beyond the BA she earned from Notre Dame of Maryland University, Darci is also a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist (CHRS), licensed in Life, Health and Annuity and currently studying to add the Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (CCWS) designation to her list of credentials and certifications.

Kim Fortunato was named Director-Community Affairs and President-Campbell Soup Foundation in May 2016. Kim is responsible for Campbell’s community affairs strategy and program, including employee volunteerism, Campbell’s Healthy Communities, and enterprise-wide expansion of the community affairs strategies. She joined Campbell in 2010 as the founding Director of Campbell’s Healthy Communities, the company’s signature philanthropic program based on a collective impact approach.

Kim speaks nationally on the role of the private sector in public/private partnerships employing a collective impact approach. In December 2015, the National Academy of Medicine published her report on “The Private-Sector Role in Building Healthy Communities: A Collective Impact Approach.�

Kim earned her B.A. degree in French and comparative literature from Duke University, and her J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.

David is the Vice President of Total Rewards & HR Programs at Vail Resorts, which includes leading the Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, HR Programs and Wellness teams. Since joining the company in 2010, David has helped drive innovation during a time where the Company has grown by more than 300%, acquiring properties both domestically and internationally. During his tenure at Vail Resorts David has helped deliver significant enhancements in the employee reward offerings, including the roll-out of pay cards, the implementation of a company-wide minimum wage, the introduction of an in-house EAP providing support to employees, managers and HR, and the implementation of a full-replacement CDH plan, for which Vail Resorts won a Healthcare Consumerism Superstars award from the Institute for Healthcare Consumerism for the ‘Most Innovative Plan Design’. Currently his team is focused on HR scalability to help drive the business priorities and be scalable to support ongoing growth.

Before joining Vail Resorts David was at Sports Authority, and prior to that he spent ten years at Boston Benefit Partners, LLC, a Boston-based employee benefits consulting firm. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and completed all classwork for a Masters in Public Health from Boston University. David is originally from Newton, Massachusetts, and currently lives in Denver with his wife and three children.

Dr. Shantanu Gaur is the co-founder and CEO of Allurion Technologies. Together with his partners, Shantanu has overseen Allurion’s research and development, fundraising, and clinical programs. Allurion’s mission is to help people realize their full potential with innovative, scalable, and trusted products. Specifically, the company has developed what Shantanu calls “Weight Loss 2.0� products that are more effective than diet and exercise but safer, cheaper, and more accessible than weight loss surgery. Allurion’s flagship product—the Elipse® Balloon—is the world’s first and only procedureless gastric balloon for weight loss and is now available for commercial sale internationally.

Shantanu is the lead inventor on several US and international patents and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. He has been invited to speak on the Elipse Balloon, obesity, and medical device innovation at several worldwide congresses and has also spoken widely on the use of crowdsourcing to make research more efficient and participant-centric. Shantanu is also a lecturer for Harvard Medical School’s Executive Education program where he has been invited to speak on new frontiers in medical device development.

Shantanu graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology from Harvard College and with an M.D. from Harvard Medical School where he was a Paul Revere Frothingham Scholar and Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow. He lives in Boston, MA with his wife Neha and son Yuvraj.

David Grandin is founder and CEO of Kiio, a digital therapeutics company focused on changing the paradigm for musculoskeletal care. Evidence-based, personalized, and consumer-centric, Kiio’s Low Back Pain Program significantly reduces pain, opioid use, and medical costs, leading to improved quality of life for the individual and improved productivity and lower cost for the employer. Kiio works with both health plans and employers, providing a cost-effective, easy-to-implement solution tailored to the needs of our partners.

With an extensive background in digital media and analytics, Dave has spent his career innovating and successfully driving change through disruptive technology. Prior to Kiio, Dave was a founder in four companies, including Avid Sports, whose solution was adopted as the de-facto standard throughout the NFL and NCAA for digital video coaching analysis, and InformTV, creator of interactive TV applications and now the backbone for statistics on DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket. At Kiio, Dave is passionate about leveraging technology and data-driven insights to provide new options for how we deliver and consume healthcare.

Dave holds a degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA from the executive high-tech program at Northeastern University. He has been active all his life, and currently enjoys fitness training, swimming, biking, and golf.

Present Responsibilities
Kristie is a Principal with Mercer Health & Benefits LLC, in Boston. She is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, providing strategic advice and orchestrating the delivery of a broad range of specialized Mercer services. She has primary responsibility for strategic planning, critical analysis and project management.

Kristie also serves on Mercer’s Total Health Management specialty practice where she helps develop strategies and educate clients and colleagues about best practices in the areas of consumerism, disease management, wellness, incentives and absence management.

Experience
Kristie has over 18 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. Prior to joining Mercer in 2014, Kristie was a Vice President in the Health practice at a regional employee benefits consulting firm headquartered in Boston. In this role Kristie managed relationships with the firm’s large national clients (1,000+ employees). Kristie also established and led the firm’s wellness consulting practice where she served as a subject matter expert on all aspects of worksite wellness programs including strategy development, program design, and evaluating outcomes.

Earlier in her career, Kristie spent several years in sales and client account management at a national third party administrator of self-funded health plans.

Kristie is considered an expert in the field of worksite wellness, and she has been quoted or published in The Boston Business Journal, Benefits Magazine, Employee Benefit News, Employee Benefit Advisor, Risk and Insurance Magazine, Business and Legal Reports (BLR), and Women’s Business Boston.

Education
Kristie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University and holds the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and Certified Worksite Wellness Program Consultant (CWWPC) professional designations. She also holds a Life, Accident and Health Insurance Producer License in several states.

Community Involvement
Kristie is a cofounder and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts, the first non-profit in the Commonwealth representing health promotion professionals and business leaders dedicated to improving employee health and productivity. She is also an active member of The Boston Club, one of the largest communities of women executives and professional leaders in the Northeast. Its mission is to impel the advancement of women to top leadership positions.

Brian Klepper, PhD is Principal of Worksite Health Advisors and a nationally prominent health care analyst and commentator. He writes and speaks extensively about the structural dynamics of the US health care cost crisis, primary care clinics, high performance health care and the management of full continuum clinical and financial risk.

Jim Knutson has been Risk Manager and Human Resources Director of Aircraft Gear Corporation in Rockford, Illinois, a manufacturer of components for the aviation and auto industries, since 1989. He is responsible for all corporate risk management, compensation and benefit programs. Jim is a member of Catalyst For Payment Reform, the Business Advisory Group to the Joint Commission For the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, a member of The Midwest Business Group on Health and served on its Board, a member of the Winnebago County, Illinois Crime Commission and a board member and treasurer of The Healthcare Incentives Improvement Institute. Jim received his bachelors degree from Marquette University and his law degree from Northern Illinois University.

Jim has been a member of the Advisory Council of Emcap, Berkley’s rent-a-captive program domiciled in Bermuda. He has also been on the State of Illinois Insurance Commission Working Group to revise the standard application for medical insurance and a member of the steering committee of The Illinois State Chamber of Commerce Health Council. He has testified before the joint state legislative committee on exchanges and presented before diverse groups including The Institute of Medicine, Captive Live conferences, and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation sponsored events.

Lee Lewis runs Gallagher’s Innovation Lab practice, a mission-driven group devoted to improving the cost, quality and design of American healthcare. Lee advises several health startups working to solve meaningful healthcare problems.

The Innovation Lab has a track record of breakthroughs. It leads the effort to bring sophisticated health plan audits to private employers. It pioneered specialty drug direct purchasing without using a PBM. His team led a grassroots effort to identify all independent freestanding Emergency Rooms in Texas. The innovation lab developed the first HSA compliant model for back and joint pain prevention, and is piloting first-ever ultra-high value virtual networks in 2018 in two major U.S. cities.

His current and past clients include American Airlines, Comcast NBC Universal, Albertson’s Grocery Stores, Home Depot, Abbot Laboratories and dozens of other large and jumbo employers.

Lee is a Rhodes Scholar Nominee. He graduated Second in his Class, Magna cum Laude with University Honors in Accounting from Brigham Young University.

Sally has been employed at Hallmark’s corporate headquarters in Kansas City, MO for nearly 35 years. She assumed her current role in 2009 in an effort to strengthen the wellness program and promote a culture of wellness for Hallmark employees. Hallmark’s wellness program, Hallmark Health, was recognized for its excellence in the corporate wellness industry with a Leadership Award by Corporate Wellness Magazine in 2012 and as a 2017Healthy KC Platinum Level Wellness Program by the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Sally was recognized in 2016 by the Corporate Health and Wellness Association as an Outstanding Well Being Partner and Academic Advisor. She is a frequent speaker and facilitator at wellness conferences. Sally holds a BS degree in Home Economics-Food Systems Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an MBA in Management from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. She has served on many industry advisory boards and currently serves as a board member for two non-profit organizations supporting causes that are very important to her:

• Rose Brooks Center, the Midwest’s largest domestic violence program that seeks to break the cycle of domestic violence and keep women and children safe.

After the Harvest, a produce rescue program that prevents hunger by acquiring fresh produce that would otherwise go to waste and distributing it to agencies serving hungry people in Kansas and Missouri.

Sarah Millar is a partner in and vice chair of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice Group. Sarah’s core practice centers on counseling public, private and non-profit companies and organizations on optimal solutions in managing and administering health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and non-qualified plans. She guides clients on the design, implementation and operation of benefit plans to ensure consistency with plan terms and compliance with ERISA and tax code requirements. Sarah provides advice on fiduciary governance matters, including current best practices and the implications of the prohibited transaction rules. When counseling clients, she focuses on identifying solutions that not only effectively manage identified compliance issues, but also takes into account the client’s employee recruitment and retention goals.

Sarah is a leader for the practice group’s Health Care Reform Team which assists clients across industry sectors in developing strategies related to compliance with the Affordable Care Act (health care reform). Her leadership and extensive experience provide a framework for advising clients on overall administrative compliance, documentation, and implementation. Among the issues that Sarah counsels on are retaining or relinquishing grandfathered plan status, assessing the impact of employer shared responsibility provisions, and implementing effective and compliant wellness programs. Sarah is regularly invited by clients and other organizations to speak and present on health care reform as it relates to employee benefits.

In General. Sarah has been an active member of the Notre Dame Club of Chicago since 2002 and served on the Club’s board of directors from July 2004 – June 2014, including as Club President from July 2012 – June 2013. The ND Club of Chicago serves the 17,000+ alumni living in the Chicagoland area through a variety of community service, networking, continuing education and social events. The mission of the Club includes raising funds for the ND Club of Chicago Scholarship Foundation and for the sponsorship of Summer Service Learning Projects in Chicago. The Foundation currently provides need-based scholarship assistance to over 70 local students attending Notre Dame. Sarah was named a Thomas J. White Scholar at Notre Dame Law School. Thomas J. White Scholars are responsible for conducting public law research and for helping publish the renowned Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy. Sarah also serves as a lector at St. Getrude’s parish and is a regular volunteer at her children’s elementary school in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago

Stephanie Molden is the Director, Global Benefits at Ciena Corporation with over 21 years of experience in human resources. As part of Ciena’s Human Resource Total Rewards organization, she leads the Global Benefits team operating in 34 countries. She strives to bring innovative benefit and well-being solutions that support Ciena’s culture and foster flexibility, trust, innovation, caring and inclusion. She is responsible for developing and implementing Ciena’s strategic benefit plan that provides consistency and equality for all employees while enabling regions to customize benefit plans as needed based on local country requirements. In 2016, she led a cross functional team that created and launched Ciena’s Global Well-Being program across the entire employee base.

Stephanie is a collaborative leader and focuses on the development of her teams and individuals. She is passionate around professional development and outreach and often participates and leads programs to bring opportunities to employees and the greater community. She helped launch and serves as one of the leaders for the Black & African Heritage@Ciena. In the community, she leads women empowerment events, mentors middle, high school and early-in-career individuals on the importance of STEM and career planning.

Kay Mooney has over 20 years of corporate health care experience. Kay currently leads Employee Benefits and Well-being for Aetna, where she is responsible for the strategic design, delivery and administration of Health, Wellness, Retirement and Financial Benefit plans for domestic and international employees and retirees.

Kay most recently led Aetna's national Health Care Reform Exchange Program Management Office, where she was responsible for driving the development and implementation of Aetna's strategy for public exchanges, and she previously served as chief of staff for the Office of the Chairman and CEO. She has held a variety of senior leadership roles at Aetna, focused on pricing, underwriting, product management, mergers & acquisitions integration and medical cost analytics.

Kay developed and currently serves as Executive Sponsor for Aetna’s Enterprise Leadership Development Program (ELDP), which is focused on building a pipeline of future leaders with a broad range of knowledge and experience across Aetna’s enterprise through rotational assignments with accelerated learning and development.

Her passion for well-being extends beyond her position at Aetna and includes leadership roles with the American Heart Association. Most recently, she served as Chair of the 2017 Greater Hartford Heart Ball. In previous years, she co-chaired the organization’s Circle of Red and Tell 5 campaigns, where she helped drive awareness of the risks of heart disease among women and raise money for this life-saving movement. She also served as Co-chair for the 2010-2011 Go Red for Women campaign for North Central Connecticut and as Chair for the 2014-2015 campaign. In 2018, Kay joined the Board of Directors for Pet Partners, an organization committed to connecting people with the health benefits of animal-assisted intervention. This aligns with Kay’s strong belief in the healing power of pet therapy.

Kay graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Penn State. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Brenda Motheral leads Archimedes, a specialty drug management company that provides analytics, technology, and service solutions for employers, health plans, and PBMs.

Brenda brings more than 20 years of pharmacy benefit management, product development, and analytics experience to the role. Prior to founding Archimedes, Dr. Motheral served as the President of Artemetrx Specialty Drug Solutions, which she founded to provide comprehensive specialty drug consulting for plan sponsors. Previously, Brenda was the Senior Vice President of Product and Research at Express Scripts and served as a company officer on the executive team. Among many initiatives during her 12-year tenure, Dr. Motheral launched the Medicare Part D program for Express Scripts and led development of the Drug Trend Report and annual client outcomes conference. Dr. Motheral has authored numerous seminal industry reports and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts on pharmacy benefit management. She has received national research awards from the Academy for Managed Care Pharmacy and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.

Dr. Motheral holds a PhD focused in Health Economics from The University of South Carolina, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The University of Kentucky.

Kathryn (Katie) Nermoe is the Corporate Wellness Director at Sanford Health Plan (Sioux Falls, SD) and is also an Amazon.com #1 best-selling author. Over her 20-year career, Nermoe has held leadership positions in health care, marketing and local government administration. Nermoe believes organizational health is the number-one driver of organizational wealth. She contends a businesses’ engagement and wellness strategies are one in the same, and uses the six dimensions of well-being as foundational cornerstones for transforming organizational culture.

Nermoe holds a bachelor’s in public administration and public relations; a master’s in public administration; and a mini-MBA in health care administration. Her favorite wellness activities include going for runs with her German Shorthair, snorkeling and wakeboarding. She is married with two step daughters and considers Bemidji, MN, the Apostle Islands, WI and North Caicos, BWI all home.

Julie Paris is the Wellness Program Specialist at Akamai Technologies, Inc. She has successfully developed the wellness program and engaged her colleagues in programs that align with the 5 Pillars of Akamai Wellness - active, nourished, calm, balanced, and healthy. Her passion for health and wellness started with a part-time career as a group fitness instructor. Completing the Institute for Integrative Nutrition program provided more fuel to her passion for health and wellness.

Samuel Peik, MD, MPH, MBA currently works as a Global Health Advisor for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) as part of the Partnership for Prevention initiative. Dr. Peik is board certified in Public Health & General Preventive Medicine, Occupational & Environmental Medicine, and Clinical Informatics. He completed residencies in Preventive Medicine at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and in Occupational Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He holds an appointment as Residency Faculty at the Johns Hopkins University Preventive Medicine Residency. He completed his MBA at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, MPH at Johns Hopkins University and MD and BS at the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and Fellow and Chair of the Policy Committee of the American College of Preventive Medicine.

Aaryn Pure is the Vice President of the Northeast for Livongo Health. Livongo empowers all people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives, using a combination of innovative technology, analytics, and personalized coaching.

Aaryn has spent his career at the forefront of healthcare innovation and transformation. He works collaboratively with Fortune 500 companies to develop strategies to effectively manage high cost employees with chronic conditions. He is passionate about the need for proactive management and real-time monitoring as a strategy to reduce costs and improve the quality of life for individuals managing these conditions. Prior to Livongo, he worked with many of the nation’s largest health systems to implement technology strategies in preparation for the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act.

Aaryn is committed to personal fitness and enjoys fly fishing, golf, and skiing. He holds an undergraduate degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Born and raised in North Dakota, Patty earned a full-athletic scholarship to attend Stanford University in 1985. She was a 9-time NCAA All-American (Shot Put and Discus) and competed at the 1988 Olympic Trials.

In the 90’s, as an entrepreneur, Patty grew her fitness & wellness company, to employ over 100 employees with annual revenues of over $5 million. In January 2009, Patty sold all corporate contracts, including those with Cisco, Yahoo! and Safeway to Plus One Holdings of New York which is now Optum. During that time, she helped launch the Stanford Health Promotion Network whose 65+ members include large corporations like Apple and Adobe, local counties, medical institutions and several non-profits.

From 2013-2016 she found her passion overseeing the HealthySteps to Wellness Program for all non-physician employees of Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Hospital. In early 2016 Patty accepted a role with the newly formed Stanford Medicine WellMD Center as a vocal advocate for all members of our care teams. Today, Patty is an Associate Director of Faculty and Staff Wellness for Stanford University and continues to oversee the Stanford Health Promotion Network.

Susan helps companies facing change solve problems and capitalize on opportunities more effectively, through more creative thinking. Some of the world’s largest corporations call on Susan to consult with them on innovation initiatives, strategy, and culture. Clients include Novartis, Kellogg, Georgia Pacific, the American Hospital Association, Tufts Health Plan, Pfizer, Frito Lay, Starbucks, & HGTV.

She was a keynote speaker at the NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center Innovation Expo, and is a frequent speaker in creativity and innovation across the U.S. and around the world. She has spoken at conferences and led innovation initiatives in places as diverse as South Africa, Italy, South Korea, Sweden, the U.K., China, France, Brazil, Mexico, and Greece.

She teaches executive education and graduate level courses in creative thinking at Harvard University, as well as being a senior faculty member at the annual Creative Problem Solving Institute, the largest and longest-running innovative thinking conference in the world.

Michael Sheehan is the Sales Director of National Accounts Sales & Service for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross), the largest private health plan in Massachusetts and one of the largest independent, not-for-profit Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in the country. The company has more than $7 billion in revenue, serves nearly 3 million members, and is rated among the nation’s best health plans for overall member satisfaction and quality.

Michael helps clients optimize their human capital and benefits strategies with a focus on multiyear strategic planning, data analytics, and population health strategies. His primary responsibility includes the overall development of client relationships as well as development and management of relationships with national consulting and brokerage firms.

In addition to his work with Blue Cross, Michael is also involved with Consortium Health Plans, made up of a subset of Blues plans across the country with a shared focus on national account delivery, as a member of their Sales Leadership Committee. In this role, Michael is engaged in strategy and implementation of national initiatives designed to increase the competitive advantage of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans across the country.

Michael began his career in health and benefits consulting. He is a graduate of Providence College’s Health Policy and Management program and has continued his involvement with Providence College as an alumni board member within the school of business. He is an active member of the Big Brother program.

Mr. Snyder has served as a school district Treasurer since 1996. He has served Fairbanks Local Schools in Milford, Ohio; North Union Local Schools in Richwood, Ohio; Cuyahoga Falls City Schools in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio; and Hudson City Schools in Hudson, Ohio before moving to Mayfield City Schools in 2006. He has over 23 years of experience in both the private and notfor- profit environments.

Mr. Snyder holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toledo, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ashland University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Awards he has received include the GFOA Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the ASBO International Certificate of Excellence, and the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction.

Mr. Snyder is a member of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO), Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Snyder and his wife Colleen have two daughters and live in Kirtland.

T. J. Tedesco is co-founder of, and VP Customer Experience for VIVIO Health, a specialty drug management company providing better outcomes at lower costs. For two decades prior to VIVIO Health, T. J. led a branding, marketing and user experience services agency serving the healthcare industry. He and his team served more than a hundred companies, a third for more than three years and six for a decade or longer. He also was a partner at Synepta Group, a healthcare IT accelerator exclusively serving early-stage health tech companies. Early in his career he was a salesperson for several companies, but started in corporate finance with a Fortune 100 tech company.

T. J. has a BA in English from Grinnell College and was valedictorian of his MBA class at Northeastern University. He’s a founding board member of the Build Haiti Foundation and when not living the VIVIO life, can often be found on a local hockey rink.

Ashley Weigl is Associate Director of Risk Reduction Services for MHealthy, the University of Michigan’s Health and Well-being program for faculty and staff. In her MHealthy role, Ashley oversees population-based programming aimed at optimizing health for all. Ashley is passionate about creating thriving work environments, health equity, and working to improve the health of the most vulnerable populations in our communities. Ashley earned her Master’s degrees in Public Health and Social Work from the University of Michigan, and has over 12 years’ professional experience in community and workplace-based health and well-being initiatives.

David Yoder is currently the Executive Director of Integrated Care Management at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s Federal Employee Plan (BCBSA FEP). There, he oversees the care management functions for over 5.3 million federal employee health Plan members. His responsibilities include Analytics, Provider Network relations, Case and Disease Management responsibilities, Medical Policy Development and oversight of the Pharmacy Programs. The combination of these responsibilities allows the program to design member intervention programs in a holistic manner, preventing duplication and helping close gaps in patient care.

Over the past 6 years he has brought an analytical perspective to the deployment of both disease and care management programs, incorporating outcomes metrics overall as well as operational efficiencies. He also is directing the implementation of the Programs Patient Center Medical Home initiatives, overseeing the rollout for FEP Members in all 38 Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans.

David has over 18 years experience working primarily in Health Plan Pharmacy venues at various health Plans on the East Coast before joining the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. He has a particular interest in Care Management program design that incorporates all aspects of patient care, including Pharmacist interventions and alternative provider arrangements.

David received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
