As Associate Director of Population Health Programs and Residency Program Director, Marnie oversees the management and development of numerous programs within Navitus’ robust clinical suite. Her team of clinical pharmacists and product managers manage the interventions and outcomes of clinical programs, including Retrospective Drug Utilization Review, Asthma Management, Pharmacoadherence, Prescriber Insights, and Concurrent Drug Utilization Review. She also is highly involved with our New Product Development process.
After working for several years as a retail pharmacist in California, Marnie joined Navitus in 2007. A Certified Asthma Educator®, her expertise has been essential in building and maintaining Navitus’ award-winning Asthma Management program. Her leadership has also been instrumental in the accreditation and maintenance of the Navitus PGY-1 Managed Care Residency Program. In 2018, Marnie was named winner of Association of Managed Care Pharmacy Award for Managed Care Pharmacy Residency Director/Preceptor. This award acknowledged Marnie for her successful work as residency director, residency preceptor, student preceptor, clinical instructor, chapter advisor, peer reviewer, mentor, and volunteer.
Marnie earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and is licensed in California and Wisconsin. She also is a Certified Diabetes Educator® and a University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy Clinical Instructor.
She is active in several professional associations, including American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). She is a regular peer reviewer for Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP). Marnie also serves as the faculty advisory for the UW School of Pharmacy AMCP Chapter.
