A registered nurse Alex has over 20 years of clinical and commercial experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare services industry including Astra Zeneca where she served as Head of Clinical Nursing. At Biogen she served as Head of Stakeholder Management and at Nutricia as Director of Nursing as part of Danone Advanced Medical Nutrition.

Alex joined RealiTi from Europe’s leading clinical home care provider, Healthcare at Home, where she served as Director of Quality and Governance and Regional Clinical Operations Director with leadership of and responsibility for patient support and access programme service design and delivery across a range of complex therapy areas including rare diseases.

She was also responsible for the management of a large paediatric clinical field force supporting children on complex therapies for a range rare diseases.

Tim Foley is Vice President, Head of Cardiovascular Marketing at Sanofi. Tim brings over 24 years of commercial leadership to the biopharmaceutical industry. Dr. Kessel’s career has over the last two decades focused on patient empowerment and how to get the best health outcomes. From working in the medical ward to creating patient centric solutions her passion for the patient has driven her career.

As a pharmaceutical executive she is the former Director of Patient Services at Abbvie, where she was responsible for developing a series of patient centred innovations and support programs with a quantifiable impact on patient experience, adherence, engagement and activation. At Gilead she was responsible for managing early access strategies and solutions in HIV for developing countries.

Michael Piatt is Vice President, New Business at Atlantis Health. Atlantis is a global agency focused on behavior change. Michael brings over 20 years of agency experience centered around the biopharmaceutical industry. He is focused on digital innovation that provides real solutions to all aspects of the patient journey.

Maria Picone is the Co-Founder and CEO of TREND Community. TREND is a digital health analytics company with a bold vision to revolutionize the world’s understanding of diseases. Maria and her husband Chris started TREND together after their daughter was born with a rare disease called Prader-Willi syndrome.
