As Senior Vice President of Sales and Retention, Mr. Smith is responsible for member sales and retention activities for all of Affinity’s product lines (Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Medicare and the Health Insurance Exchange). Prior to joining Affinity, Mr. Smith held senior executive-level sales and marketing positions at Emblem, HIP, Ceridian Benefits Services and the Prudential organization. He comes with considerable experience in new product launches, building distribution channels, enterprise branding and developing strategic partnerships, among other things. Mr. Smith holds a BA degree from Princeton University in History, with a Certificate in American Studies. He has also completed a program in Strategic Negotiations through Harvard Business School's Executive Education Program. In addition, DeWitt has been an active member of the Association of Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), serving in several leadership council roles. |
