Established in 1990, the Case Management Society of America is an international non-profit 501(c)(6) multi-disciplinary professional association dedicated to the support and advancement of the case management profession through educational forums, networking opportunities, legislative advocacy, and establishing standards to advance the profession. It is based in Little Rock, Ark. and serves more than 20,000 members/subscribers and over 70 affiliate and pending chapters. Created in 2009 as a response to the need for a convenient way to network and exchange information in the physician advisor community, NAPA is the only national association dedicated to the role of the Physician Advisor. NAPA has since expanded to over 500 members; serving as a central hub for discussions, opportunities, and networking for this growing role.
The National Association of Physician Advisors (NAPA) is dedicated to creating a forum for physician advisors, case managers, VPMAs, medical directors and other hospital professionals in the departments of utilization and compliance for:
- Networking: Connect through social networking sites and national conferences with your peers, superiors and consultants.
- Knowledge Transfer: Share strategies, best practices and lessons learned through national events, online discussion forums and publications.
