Association of Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP) is an organization of nurses, clinical and service professionals whose expertise bridges the gap between clinical staff and the supply chain process. Using evidence-based data, professional experience, and an understanding of the cost/quality continuum, Value Analysis facilitators guide clinical staff in the product selection process and assist with the resolution of quality concerns. Membership is open to professionals involved in value analysis and employed by a hospital, health system, or organizations involved in value analysis services. No member shall be employed, directly or indirectly in the role of medical/surgical product sales or promotion.

GS1 Healthcare US focuses on driving the adoption and implementation of GS1 Standards in the healthcare industry in the U.S. to improve patient safety and supply chain efficiency. Facilitated by GS1 US, GS1 Healthcare US is one of sixty-six local GS1 Healthcare user groups around the world that supports the adoption and implementation of global standards developed by GS1 - the most widely used supply chain standards worldwide. The Health Sector Supply Chain Research Consortium (HSRC-ASU) is a research group within the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. The consortium was founded in 2004 to bring together health sector organizations and academic researchers to conduct research on topics related to the strategic management of the health care supply chain. HSRC-ASU embodies:
