Marketing
Our Marketing team is responsible for marketing our B2B Conferences using targeted direct marketing strategies focusing on social media, email and other communications. They are also responsible for the Company’s delegate revenue and develop pricing strategies, identify new customers, partner with industry associations and publications and to create effective marketing campaigns. They are excellent time managers, building daily and weekly plans, that will ensure they meet the demands of all their events. Finally, our Marketing Managers are technology driven and analytical. They like to get to the bottom of things. They want to know what drives people to our events and work tirelessly to achieve that goal.
Sponsorship
Our team of Business Development Managers are responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibit sales and servicing for all of our products and services through an ambitious, creative and tenacious set of skills and attributes. In addition to having a strong core set of skills our Business Development Managers are highly skilled at analyzing research, sales reports, social media reports and work hard to develop innovative and creative ways to serve our customers. Conference Research
Our Conference Producers are responsible for building an exciting, market-driven conference agenda and overseeing all parts of our B2B conferences from start to finish. They do this by conducting primary market research, spending the majority of their day on the phone, networking with senior industry (C-suite) executives within the health care, pharma, and legal industries and recruit them to speak at our events. In additional to being confident and effective communicators, they are entrepreneurial, inquisitive, driven by learning, highly organized, excellent multi-taskers and deadline driven. Finally, our conference producers travel to the events they produce, network with industry leaders and build relationships with top-level business executives. Note: This is not a meeting planning position. If you are a meeting planner, please see the “Event Operations” description.
Customer Service
Our Customer Service team is dedicated to assisting all customers – speaker, sponsors, and attendees – and provide them with accurate information about our conferences. If you need the price of registration, hotel and travel information, want to attend a workshop or webinar, or any other matter related to our events, our customer service team is dedicated to providing the answers. Our customer service staff are able to handle a fast-paced environment and handle customer calls with a professional and business-like fashion. While a business degree is an advantage, it is not a requirement for this role, however, we do require that you are proficient in the MS office suite of products and are very comfortable with technology.
Delegate Sales
Our Delegate Sales Representatives are responsible for the sale of admission passes to high-level executives in the health care, pharma and legal industries so they may attend our workshops and conferences. They accomplish this by reaching out to prospective attendees and making them aware of the benefits of attending a World Congress event. Our Delegate Sales Representatives are confident, have an excellent telephone presence, driven to achieve sales targets and ambitious. A marketing or business degree is an advantage, but not a requirement for this role. We only require that you possess the self-discipline and drive to serve our customers well.
Event Operations
Our team of event operations professionals are responsible for pre-conference planning, management of our logistics related vendors and hotel coordination to ensure that our delegates, speakers, and sponsors experience nothing less than a world-class event. Our team members are above average multitaskers, extremely organized, creative, customer centric, and have superior time management skills. They perform their work with an exceptional level of professionalism and are truly responsible for the on-site experience of all our events.
Graphics & Web Design
Our team of Graphic and Web Design Professionals are creative and detail oriented. They are responsible for all visual and technical aspects of the World Congress websites and marketing materials. They create and maintain the websites and collateral for over 80 annual events, and are often working on large volumes of requests sent by the Production, Marketing, Sponsorship, and Operations teams.
Central Services
Our Central Services team is comprised of Human Resources, Accounting and Information Services professionals. Together, they are responsible to provide all services required for the day-to-day business operation. Whether its preparing financials, working with outside government and compliance agencies, purchasing health care and related benefits, recruiting, developing and retaining talent, or developing an Information Technology platform that is aligned with our business goals, our Central Services Team gets the job done.
