David Haarmeyer provides competitive and strategic analysis for clients in the energy and water sectors worldwide. He has analyzed utility asset acquisition and divestiture opportunities for energy companies to create value and manage risk in the emerging competitive power market. Prior to joining Stone & Webster, Mr. Haarmeyer was a consultant with the World Bank and Global Environment Fund. In different capacities he has also worked for the Reason Foundation, a Los Angeles-based public policy research group; the New Zealand government; and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
