Don Condon joined Conoco in 1993 as head of Upstream Finance and was named to start up Conoco Global Power Inc., an independent power business, in early 1995. During his tenure as President of Conoco Global Power, nine projects totaling over 1500MW were developed in North America, South America, and Europe. Early in 1999, Condon was selected to lead business development activities and new ventures for Conoco’s Upstream business for growth areas outside the U.S. and North Sea and to head Conoco’s new subsidiary for integrated energy development, Conoco Energy Ventures.
