Master in Economics Sciences from Rio de Janeiro, she has been an employee of BNDES (a Brazilian Public Bank and the Country�s most important source for long term financing) since 1974 and, presently, she is Superintendent of the Urban Infrastructure Area. In the last 15 years, she held several executive positions in differents divisions of the Bank, such as, privatization, planning, social projects and financing programs for small and medium size companies, and recently, between March 1996 and March 1999, she was Head of the Enviromental Sanitation Department.
