As chief executive officer of i3, Mr. Bilawsky is responsible for the i3 organization, which includes: i3 Research, i3 Statprobe, i3 Drug Safety, i3 Pharma Resourcing, i3 Magnifi, and i3 DLN. He brings more than 26 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, 19 of that in the contract research industry.
Mr. Bilawsky began his pharmaceutical career in 1979 at McNeil Pharmaceutical, a Johnson and Johnson company. He joined Pharmaco LSR, now part of PPD, Inc., in 1988 and led that company’s worldwide business development division, which achieved global market leadership in the early to mid 1990s. In 1995, he was recruited to Quintiles Transnational, where he held several leadership positions, including executive vice president of Worldwide Business Development, and group executive vice president. He came to i3 in 2003 after serving as CEO of INC Research, Inc. In 2005, he was voted one of the Pharma Voice "100 Most Inspiring People" in the pharmaceutical industry.
