Ann Gilbert, MBA, Corporate Director of Patient and Physician Access for the Elliot Health System. Ms Gilbert has over 20 years experience in designing, implementation, and operations of financial assistance programs and prompt payment programs for hospitals and physician practices with a focus on positive customer service to increase patient loyalty and improve market share. In 1993, she participated in the development and operations of the HealthLink Program, a managed-care program for the uninsured and underinsured, for Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, New Hampshire. In 2000 to present, she has been involved with the development and administration of the New Hampshire Health Access Network. Created through the New Hampshire Hospital Association, this program provides portable health care coverage for uninsured and underinsured citizens of New Hampshire with participating Hospitals, Clinics, and Providers in the State. Ms Gilbert is currently the chair of the New Hampshire Hospital Association Patient Access, Development and Training Group. Ms Gilbert is a frequent lecturer on methods to improving customer service topics.
