Steven Lash is a seasoned healthcare executive and entrepreneur. He has over 25 years of healthcare experience including 19 years at Sharp Healthcare, San Diego’s largest healthcare delivery system. During his years at Sharp Healthcare, he was Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, as well as, Executive Vice President for Institutional Care, where he was responsible for the operations of 5 acute hospitals, 3 skilled nursing facilities and the Sharp Health Plan, a federally qualified Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). Steve has been credited with providing the co-leadership in developing Sharp from a single hospital to a multi-hospital, multi-physician group healthcare system, which serves as a model for the U.S. Following Sharp, he joined a physician practice management company, as Executive Vice President and CFO, where he was responsible for taking the company public. Additionally, he has been CEO of a clinical testing company, as well as, a Dermatology products company. He has founded or has been on the Board of Directors of several healthcare service start-up companies. Steve holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and a MBA from the University of San Diego.
