Dr. Nicole Hare-Everline is the City of Houston’s Wellness Director and Director of the Employee Assistance Program, where she spearheads efforts to design and implement the city’s employee wellness and employee assistance program that saved over $63 million to the sponsored employee health plan within two years.

Dr. Nicole Hare-Everline received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Education, as well as a Master of Science degree in Community Health and Wellness, at the University of Central Arkansas. She then completed her doctoral degree in Health Science through the Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Under her leadership, the City of Houston has received numerous awards, including Houston’s Healthiest Employer and WELCOA Well Workplace Gold Award. In addition, Dr. Hare-Everline has been awarded the Texas Cardiovascular Health Promotion Award and The Heart and Stroke Healthy City Award.
