In 2008, Barbara Buesse joined the Siteman Cancer Center in the department of Physician Outreach. The Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine is a NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with a mission to prevent cancer in the community and transform cancer patient care through scientific discovery.

He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and completed his Family Medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey—School of Osteopathic Medicine/Kennedy Memorial Hospitals in Stratford, New Jersey, where he served as chief resident.

Clinical Integration Strategist, Physician Liaison University Hospitals of Cleveland
Rebecca Emmons joined University Hospitals Cleveland in March 2016 as a Clinical Integration Strategist-Physician Liaison. In her role, she is responsible for developing strong relationships with employed and independent physicians, both primary care and specialty care, in order to assist building physician practices, facilitate key introductions and ultimately minimize referral leakage. Though the use of data, market intelligence and in working with hospital leadership, Rebecca seeks to identify referral leakage gaps and works to close those gaps by realigning physicians through onboarding, outreach, referral facilitation and in offering additional referral tools such as the University Hospitals Physician Provider mobile application and the University Hospitals point-of-service scheduling tool, Schedule Me Now. Rebecca is key liaison contact for the University Hospitals Otolaryngology Institute, is an active team member for the implementation of inpatient and outpatient telemedicine in the rural geography footprint, and new in 2018, Rebecca will begin working more closely as the key liaison contact for University Hospital’s world-renowned cancer center, Seidman Cancer Center.
Prior to joining UH, Rebecca served the banking industry for six years by managing an extensive portfolio of clients. In this role, she coordinated with her clients to meet current needs and anticipate future ones. Rebecca’s customer service and sales success in the financial industry has helped her learn how to build great relationships with system leadership and the providers within University Hospitals.
As a native of northeastern Ohio, Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Marketing Communications from Ursuline College. She is also in the process of obtaining her Healthcare MBA from Baldwin Wallace University, with expected graduation in May 2019. Rebecca was fortunate to be the keynote speaker at the northeastern Ohio American Heart Association Go Red for Women campaign in 2017, was thankful for the opportunity to speak at both the 4th Annual World Congress Physician Liaison Summit Midwest in Cleveland and the Winter Physician Relations Summit in Philadelphia last year, and is Board Trustee for the Geauga County Farm Bureau. Garret Morris is a talented healthcare manager and the Director of Network Development and Physician Relations for the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), just north of Baltimore, MD. He is a gifted Relationship Manager who uses a positive, patient centered approach to engage customers and coworkers. Garret looks for “That personal connection” and to identify what matters most to GBMC’s 300 employed providers and nearly 1150 medical staff members.
Garret helped found and run GBMC’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO), the Greater Baltimore Health Alliance (GBHA). GBHA was the first ACO in Maryland to include a hospital and is an important part of realizing GBMC’s quadruple aim; better health, better care, least waste and more joy.

Dr. Perez started his career in academia as an Assistant Professor at Rowan University-SOM. Chris Stevens serves as a Program Manager for the Cleveland Clinic Quality Alliance. He has been with the program for 3 years.
