The World Congress Leadership Summit on Medicaid will address the recent expansion of Medicaid and the loss of federal funding whilst offering new solutions to these challenges. How can health plans and health systems identify and meet the needs of the new demographic of eligible Medicaid recipients?

Attendees will address the issues of access for Medicaid recipients and hear how to develop cost containment strategies without sacrificing quality of care. The forum will provide delegates the opportunity to hear from State Medicaid Directors from around the country and to gain perspective from a variety of Industry Leaders who are developing innovative strategies and programs that will reap the rewards of enhanced Medicaid in this tough financial market.

Other areas to be examined include: Medicaid/Medicare dual eligibles (co-located with the Medicare Summit); creative solutions for creating new revenue, and the Medicaid Patient-Centered Medical Home.
