The World Congress Leadership Summit on Building the Data Infrastructure to Drive Evidence-Based Improvements in Health Care is designed to address the opportunities and challenges for providers in managing clinical data in today’s new health care environment.  With an increased focus on accountability and adoption of EHRs, data is now a strategic asset for providers. Clinical analytics, or the use of clinical data to identify and measure quality, patient safety, business efficiency and improvements, has incredible potential to bring value to provider organizations by strengthening their ability to deliver high-value health care.

At this Summit, the audience will gain insights into the challenges of managing data well beyond ensuring that data resides in a database that has analytic tools.  Through case studies and panel discussions, the audience will learn strategies for increasing access to data and its integration, developing analytical capabilities and interpretative skills for creating actionable data that will lead to long-term sustainable knowledge.

Attend this Summit to be able to:
  • Use economic measures/financial data to operationalize an ACO
  • Increase access to data through clinical, quality, administrative and financial integration
  • Develop an internal data governance structure with oversight for data integrity and a “single version of the truth”
  • Create a data-driven, organizational culture and develop managers who “ask a question, not for a report”
  • Use your EHR to mine data for identifying secondary data strategies
  • Create a unifying strategy for clinical data and to turn data into clinical intelligence to change clinical care
  • Develop the reporting structure to do population health data analysis for improving care
  • Track performance improvement in clinical care and compare to benchmarks
  • Foster transparency and improve collaboration between health plans and providers
  • Gain guidance on making a strategic decision to invest in a data warehouse
