Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) is the delivery of long term services and supports through capitated Medicaid managed care programs. The number of states with MLTSS programs has drastically increased from 8 in 2004 to 26 currently, with other states pending implementation.
Just because states are moving in the direction of MLTSS does not mean it is easy. In fact, there is nothing simple about MLTSS.
