Summit Update

World Congress is pleased to announce that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has just confirmed their participation in the 4th Annual Chronic Care and Prevention Congress.

Addressing Chronic Care through the Prism of Co-Morbidities – Initiatives from Health and Human Services

The vast majority of Americans with chronic conditions now have multiple chronic conditions.  The quality of care and cost implications for this population is enormous.

Efforts are needed to address the research, clinical practice, health professionals training, provider payment and self-care management challenges pertaining to caring for this population.   HHS is leading a variety of efforts focused on improving the health status of this population and is looking to enhance collaboration with external stakeholders.  Dr. Parekh will outline current HHS initiatives and their strategy for combating chronic disease.
