American Institute for Preventive Medicine (healthylife.com)
Many health promotion and benefits professionals like to hold well-being activities based on the dates of National Health Observances. The publicity generated by the organizations that sponsor these health events can increase employee participation and engagement. To that end, for the past 35 years, the American Institute for Preventive Medicine has developed an annual Well-Being Activity Planner. Each month the planner lists health events, along with previews of future events to help professionals plan their company’s well-being program. The planner also provides no cost and low cost resources and recommendations on how to enhance your well-being program. To receive your copy of the planner, please go to the 2019 Wellness Activity Planner or contact the American Institute for Preventive Medicine at email@example.com.
The Dallas-Fort Worth Business Group on Health is a coalition of Dallas and Fort Worth area employers committed to working to bring together leaders and decision makers from a variety of businesses in the healthcare community. DFWBGH accomplishes this through educational programs, information sharing opportunities, quality improvement initiatives, worksite health projects, surveys and other useful resources. DFWBGH holds several General Membership Luncheons throughout the year and an Annual Benefits Forum where both employers and providers of services come together to hear our guest speakers and enjoy networking opportunities. DFWBGH programs provide valuable information on critical issues such as controlling cost, enhancing your benefits plan and insight into current and future healthcare regulations.

Our mission is to increase the value of health benefit spending for employer members, by improving workforce and community health, increasing healthcare quality and safety, and reducing health care costs. The Coalition represents employer interests in working with health plans, health care providers, benefits consultants, suppliers and other system stakeholders to address population health priorities and to ensure that when health care is needed it is accessible, affordable, high-quality, and safe.
