| Larry Altman is Vice President of Corporate Marketing & Communications at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. In this role, Mr. Altman is responsible for market research and analysis, advertising and promotions, product development, communications and the company’s online presence. Prior to joining Horizon BCBSNJ, Mr. Altman was a partner with Booz Allen Hamilton, the global management-consulting firm. He has been a frequent speaker and author on insurance industry trends and has been published and quoted in publications such as the New York Times, Financial Times, Best's Review, National Underwriter and American Banker. Mr. Altman holds a B.A. in economics from Princeton University and a master’s degree in business administration from Yale School of Management. |

Ms. Bierbower served as Vice President for Program Management and Vice President for Healthcare Strategy Implementation at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was responsible for developing and managing the organization’s strategic business and e-commerce initiatives. Prior to Highmark, she worked for The Newbury Group as a managing consultant, and served HealthAmerica Pennsylvania, Inc. as its Chief Operating Officer. |
