The World Congress ACO Summit in the news!

10 ‘Facts’ on Accountable Care Organizations
Gary Baldwin
Health Data Management Blogs, May 31, 2011

I spent two days last week at the World Congress Leadership Summit on Accountable Care Organizations and my mind is just now recovering. As far as speaker quality goes, this conference (which offered concurrent tracks on ICD-10 and Meaningful Use) was top-notch, with dozens of speakers from hospitals, medical groups, payers, and consulting firms. There was a lot to absorb, but a few recurring themes came through. Here are my Top 10 takeaways from the conference…Click here to read more!

The World Congress 2nd Annual Leadership Summit on ACOs and PCMHs will convene providers and other stakeholders to discuss strategies for participating in an ACO framework that offers shared savings payments for improving the quality of care and costs. Real-world, case study examples of organizations currently participating in ACO pilots will be featured on the agenda and the Summit faculty will offer concrete, specific steps that others must take throughout the process of planning and implementation.

The Five Reasons You Must Attend this Summit in 2011:
  • Thought Leaders: Payers, providers, government, academia and consultants giving case studies on commercial ACOs which highlight the importance of Medical Homes as a foundational cornerstone.
  • New Perspectives: Many of the faculty presenting for the first time at a national ACO and PCMH meeting.
  • Coverage of the Final CMS Shared Savings Regulations: A senior advisor from CMMI will offer a thoughtful analysis on how to participate in this and other innovative Medicare programs.
  • Real World, Practical Perspectives: Case study examples of organizations currently participating in Accountable Care Organizations and Patient-Centered Medical Homes pilots will be featured.
  • Two Specialty Workshops: The Business of Planning and Launching a Provider Sponsored ACO and Using Analytics to Support ACOs and Medical Homes: Developing Your Ability to Capture and Share Meaningful Data designed to provide participants with an unmatched education
