Featured Session:

Reconsider Patent-Eligibility under Section 101

Since the Supreme Court decisions in Myriad, Mayo and Alice, the scope of patent-eligible subject matter has been severely cut back and in flux. Understanding what will be patent-eligible at the PTO during original prosecution, at the PTAB in PGR and CBM proceedings and in a court of law, is constantly changing and difficult to navigate.

  • Comprehend the state of the law on patent-eligibility
  • Discuss the problems with the law as currently being applied
  • Evaluate potential legislative fixes being proposed and considered
